I deserve a SPECIAL medal ... in procrastination. Had this multifunction color inkjet printer/copier/scanner/ fax machine .... ONE year plus ! Only JUST got it working today (never too bothered, before).

I now have approx. two hours, to design and print 3 cards .... that HAVE to be sent to the UK today. Whether they'll arrive for Christmas day (before) .... I am not sure ... but hopeful.

I hate that I'm like this .... but that's the way it is !    >:(    :-[    :(



At least I can confirm ... that the color pic I printed .... .on ordinary A4 paper .... to me .... looks of a pretty good standard !   8)

'Murphy's law' ... everything that CAN go wrong ... WILL go wrong.

I do NOT work well under pressure / when things start to go wrong. I get VERY flustered ..... VERY angry.

I am NOT the person you'd turn to  ... to stay calm ... in a situation of panic !

I've had a year to get to know this printer, but decide only today, when the christmas cards HAVE to be in the mail this evening .... to stand ANY chance of making it to the UK before xmas ... to really fire it up proper.

Well, this problem in photoshop ... came back to haunt me, at the worst possible moment. I probably lost half an hour, as well as beating myself up mega !

Then I rushed out, to find various newsagents did not sell stamps .... and I finally threw the output into the mailbox, as best I could, with maybe too much postage, and NO postcode !

Certainly let myself down, BIG time ... I've definitely gone down hill !

I generally ignore those kinda things. Certainly ..... and I DO hope I'm not wrong ... it's not unusual for the post from here, to reach the UK within 4 days. Because we have a lower population .... and I also think things are generally more efficient here, .... I thought I might get away with a late post, rather than the wish lists of the post office.

It IS too bad, that my family, are not really computer literate as I am, else I'd try to talk them into an electronic christmas card .... which you can REALLY send at the last minute.  And you can personalize them .... instead of some mass produced, overpriced crap.  And it's 'green' .  And it's cheap.


And ... you should NEVER begin a sentence with 'and' .......
