Good idea; that is, if you don't wanna deal with having a mouse.
For the last four years I have been primarily using a laptop at home.

Glad you both agree! It happened in my neighborhood yesterday; my neighbor even called the cops to report it... and when the cop got here, he explained that the police department was receiving numerous phone calls about two young guys trying to rip off other people's automobiles. One guy even drove up in a pickup truck, holding a loose car stereo which he said was taken by one of the young dudes, and handed it to the cop.

makes it hard to make progress with myself when I'm fighting this whatever that seems to want me to kill myself. I often end up blaming someone for something in some way. I've learned to catch myself and maybe just do a parody which helps me look at the situation clearer and not just negative.

Okay, maybe more than once. And at different times of the year. But I do remember one particular year when I missed the last three days of school before winter break because of my throat being sore.

I almost got hit in a parking lot once earlier this week. I was backing out of a space, and preparing to go forward, when all of a sudden, some Ford Ranger truck came outta nowhere and we were almost head-on. And I couldn't back up either, because a car was right behind me. So it was kind of a deadlocked situation. I motioned for the guy in the Ford Ranger to back up, but he didn't seem to heed those instrux. He eventually backed up a few inches and swerved around me, thankfully avoiding me altogether, so I was able to move forward and get out of that badly-organized parking lot.

Smite to my computer's electrical wire connection; one portion of it seems to have busted (after being mutilated for a while). Because of this, I am running my laptop off the battery, which has a very limited usage time when it cannot be charged. And until I get it repaired (which might be early next week, after Christmas, at the earliest), I cannot plug it in safely.

It happens all the time on the roads. They pass you on the right, turn in front of oncoming cars (which goes against the right-of-way), and try to tailgate you. >:(
