Could be, but it's sep6th, not like it's the end/start of the month. And they didn't have to yap away outside as well, with mindless conversation.  Wake up the whole building.

Aha!

some nasty ones could turn out to be nice.

That is, when/if you finally meet them.

I used to live in a mobile home park, and many of the other tenants came and went over the 20 years we were living there. Some of 'em were decent, but others were a pain. For example, there was a family that lived across from us during our final two years there (1998-2000) and the dude that lived there was very inconsiderate (I already smote him a long time ago when we last talked about annoying neighbors). And next door to us, was a weird bunch who was also inconsiderate, but one of the guys who lived there (who was actually a year or two my senior) was actually nice compared to the rest of the bunch.

Nope...  and not a chance.  It has been sort of a mystery for a while.  The calf just seemed to have a failure to thrive, unless it was under constant attention. It was a bottle calf, it's mother failed to care for it. When we went to county fair, it just wouldn't drink the water (which usually is just a problem between city water and rural/well water) and even when we brought water from home it wouldn't drink, finally we put the water in a bottle and it drank and was fine (it had been off a bottle for at least a month).  We came home, weaned all the calves from their mom, and it had lots of calves around, and it did not seem to socialize.  We came home from state fair, and it was in the lot panting, gant, sunken and no strength.  Went out to lot, gave it a bottle of water and it drank it, got up and it went into the pen with us.  We had another sick heifer, and so I put it in our fenced in back yard, and it did wonderful - left it there while we went back to fair.  Came home, all fine - except for my plants/landscape.  Put it back in lot with calves, and came home from start of school and again Izzy lying, gant and no strength. Got her in gave her some meds and electrolytes, all seemed good over the weekend and she was laying dead today.  :\'(  I can say we tried everything and we loved her.  She became a pet in our yard, she would come to you when you came home...  was cute at 150 lbs, probably not so cute at 1,500 lbs...

However, the smite still stands because it didn't come on time when it was supposed to, and didn't come within the hour after I called the automated line. But the important thing is that it's finally here, safe and sound. :)

I give smite to stations that overdo the commercials. Yes I know that ads are necessary for broadcasting, and I've complained about them time and again, but sometimes I've seen a station overdo it with them that they fail to finish the commercial breaks in time to get back to the main program (especially when said program is live, like a ballgame), and you end up missing part of it because of that.

So to recap (for whoever is tallying the smites), my smite goes to stations that overdo commercials.

Like a bus shelter?

Or an awning, depending on where you are. In all the years I went to school at Cal State Northridge, sometimes I would have to wait for the train in the rain, due to lack of shelter at the Northridge train station. Eventually I would start going to the Chatsworth train station and waiting there more regularly, since there was a building there.

I wanted to see an episode where Jan becomes a crack addict and kills Oliver in the process of looking for money  ;D
(Jan, going through the shakes)  - Oliver, do you have money on you?
(Oliver) - I do, but, you can't have it.
(Jan...pulls out a knife)  - Oliver. I told you. Give me your money!
(Oliver) Jan, it's dangerous to play with knives. Besides, the money I have will go into buying a thank you card for letting Auntie Carol and Uncle Mike stay in your home. It's really groovy!
(Jan) Oliver you ( expletive) Give me your (expletive) money or I'll ..
(Oliver, cutting in on Jan) Uncle Mike said we shouldn't use that sort of language.
Jan throws Oliver off the staircase, take the 37 cents Oliver had in his pocket and leaves the home to meet her supplier, while shouting out some expletives here and there "He only had 37 (expletive) cents! That little runt!"

I had my first pounding tinnitus a few days ago. Kind of scared me having it that loud for the first time, had to remind myself that people complaining about loud tinnitus is not uncommon.  My ears are all full of my dry skin/ wax stuff.  Clear it all out for more tinnitus and stuff to take it's place.  Best to just have one of those cough drops to keep the sinus passageways open.
