Agreed!! It always seems like the audio of the commercials is always louder than that of the main program. That's why I always hit the mute button.

I have no idea why, but tv is always much louder when I wake up then at night. My tv's volume goes to 100, and in the morning I can stand it being up to 15 at the highest, but then around the afternoon or night I need it at 50+.

morning shows are louder because they want people to wake up, be alert and pay attention to whatever is on.... afternoon shows are lower because they want you to have to work for it... they fear people are multitasking and they want you to turn it up so you will become more engrossed in that than whatever it is you should be doing.

I smite seeing things here on BBC America television channel that are advertised as "ALL NEW" when they'd already been shown YEARS ago in England.

Oh... the old "hand me down" gimmick? Those shows are probably "all new" in the place in which they originated...

Does that mean that the BBC already renown for showing repeats here are now showing repeats over there?

They could be.

I'll bump this knowing full well that it'll get buried again but anyway,

Here's a post to make sure that it doesn't get buried. (But if one of us posts on another thread, this one'll fall down a notch. However, at least it'll stay on page one.)
