I just haven't found a sensible way to fold the fitted sheets without creasing them to a total mess.  Also one of mine isn't deep enough for the mattress so they drive me crazy riding up and just wrapping themselves around the mattress topper.  Bah

no petco wouldn't have done anything... you should have gotten an empty box from Pathmark, got the pigeon in it and then called information to find out if there is some one who takes care of injured birds... or- since you're in NYC and they probably have bigger issues to deal with than an injured pigeon you should have put the thing out of its misery so it wouldn't hvae to suffer anymore.

Yes my humor has been getting harsher and a little while after I posted this and my comment to ladybug, I found something between my mom and I upsetting me again.  Might be a good idea for me to stop the jokes and take care of something else.

It probably happens to everyone at one time or another. Sometimes a specific person will call only once, and then realize they have the wrong # (no harm, no foul)...but when the same person does it multiple times, then it can get aggravating.

Another such instance is when the same company who you stopped doing business with 3 years ago keeps calling you and asking if you want their services again. What part of We Don't Want Your Business Anymore do they not understand? >:( In 2006 a local company known as My Window Man (which specializes in window cleaning) was cleaning the outsides of the windows on our house...and one time in June of that year they did a half-ass job at cleaning 'em, so we decided to stop using their service. We even told 'em that. But every few months or so, they began calling us again, asking if we wanted them to clean our windows again. So we had to keep reminding them. Eventually it got to the point where they seemed to be harassing us. Fortunately we haven't heard from them in several months...but they were annoying. If only the Smite Club had been around in '06, I would have given them a smite. But it's never too late! So, infinite smite to "My Window Man", please!

During my work performance review my boss told me he was informed I had been complaining about him to my co-workers. He didn't tell me what was said, who said it, nor did he ask me if I made the comments. He said "complaining" has no place on the job. What's more upsetting to me is the fact we recently had a Harassment seminar at work. Everyone attended. We learned about different forms of harassment including retaliation. Retaliation is exactly what he subjected me to for partaking in "water-cooler" talk.
