no not private at all & I don't mind sharing it Al.  I was talking to one of my nephews the other night & he tells me about his brother having DNA tests done to try to determine ethnic background of both sides of the family, his dad & my sister, which means my Yugoslavian mom and my Mexican dad. The main reason he did it was to detect any Native American (Indian) ancestry from my father's side and turns out there is zero Indian.  on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the most dominant gene, on my moms side was a 9 for South Eastern Europe which was expected since she was born in Yugoslavia & we have relatives there. Now the BOMB, on my Mexican father's side, there was ZERO mexican, and a 9 for Spanish which explains why he knew of no relatives in Mexico and in Texas where he was raised, it was common for Spanish to live in that area and not intermarry with Indian or Mexican, or at least so says the professor at the college teaching forensics. needless to say, I was shocked, thinking all my life that I was Mexican/Yugoslavian and now discover I am half Spaniard which is pretty cool I guess. they say the new DNA tests are fairly accurate, so like,,, whoa!  :o

Now the BOMB, on my Mexican father's side, there was ZERO mexican,

yeah, a huge bomb, Diane & Julie were both entertained by this new revelation. I've always thought I was more Mexican than anything, but I talk and act very white/caucasian since I grew up with many friends that were, but Spanish?  It's gonna take awhile to process this but I will take extra chili and hot sauce and some Spanish Paella
