Yup!

Oklahoma is one of 42 states that I have never visited...but I learned all about Oklahoma when I was in 3rd grade; my 3rd grade teacher was born and raised in Oklahoma, and she even drove a car with an Oklahoma plate! Also, once when I was in 5th grade, my parents took me to see the "Oklahoma!" play at a theatre in Temple City, CA.

June 26, 1990 was the hottest day on record in Phoenix...122 F.  Try driving around with no a/c in your car...pins and needles on your left arm.

It's rarely humid, unless it rains.  Then we all melt.

The 80's in the morning is usually only during days we have triple-digit weather, and that's anywhere from 4-6 months of the year.  The high today was 69 F and low this morning was 50.  It gets cool at night/in the morning.  Hottest time of day now is around 4 PM AZ time.

Actually, I am not sure if that area code has officially taken effect as of yet. Eight years ago, it was supposed to overlay the 310 area code (south Los Angeles, Malibu, Lynwood, Compton, etc.), but it was shelved at the time. I will investigate it at some point.

Right now, I doubt that my current post tally exists as a zipcode, as the lower 91500's pertain to Burbank.

Yeah, it said something about "overlaying 310."  We have that here in NY -- for instance in Manhattan, there are both 212 and 646 area codes.  It's entirely possible the site I got it from was out of date...

Somewhere in Northern California.

I know that my post count passed through Oakland yesterday...so I may have inadvertently stopped by M.C. Hammer's house. :D

Why certainly...as I have been there only once. It was the destination of my very first airplane trip. O0

One of our fellow members, Marian, lives there...so I'll be saying hi to her as I traverse through the town. ;D Say, her post count is probably a zipcode too...I wonder which one??

Actually, I just checked, and it didn't work...but if it did register, it would be somewhere in South Carolina.

Subject: Re: The Zip Code thread

Marian postcount is 29548 and no records of a zip code matches that search parameter.

I know, I just checked...but I tried with 29547, which does register. It's somewhere in South Carolina. So if 29548 existed (I'm being hypothetical), it would be in SC, as the next existing zipcode, 29551, is also in South Carolina.

If I take my Karma Point of 1443 and multiply by 10, it gives 14430. That figure gives me Clarkson, NY.

My ZIP Code is 39212.  The ZIP Code in which I live covers the southernmost portion of Jackson.

DEMOGRAPHICS (Census 2000?)
Population: 38,487
Households per Zip Code: 14,851
Average House Value:  $70,900
Avg. Income Per Household: $40,705
Persons Per Household: 2.73
White Population: 19,555 (51%)
Black Population: 18,357 (48%)
Hispanic Population: 294 (1%)

In 2001, 39212 was split.  Whereas south Jackson retained 39212, the unincorporated community of Byram (which currently seeks city status) received its own ZIP code: 39272.

Byram also received its own full-service post office in 2001.

142998/10 = 14299.8, so 14299

14299 will be New Haven, Indiana.

142998/10 = 14299.8, so 14299

14299 will be New Haven, Indiana.

Indiana? I thought that that range might be New York state still?

I checked the zip-codes.com web site, and I found out that the zipcodes beginning with 142xx are for Buffalo, NY. (For the record, 14299 is not among them, so it doesn't exist.) And 143xx will be for Niagara Falls, NY.

99865 does not register as a zipcode, but I am still in Alaska. 99850 was Juneau (the state capital), and the next zipcode I will pass through is 99901, for Ketchikan.

I am also less than a hundred posts away from the final zipcode, 99950, which also pertains to Ketchikan, AK, if memory serves me correctly.

Oh my goodness, I was having so much fun in the PBG's that I went right past 99950, which is the highest-numbered zipcode in existence!

So this means I have passed through all the zipcodes...but like I said in another thread, when I reach the six figures, I can divide my tally by 10, truncate the remainder and find out which New York zipcode corresponds to the result. If I do this with Philip's tally, I think he would still be in the Niagra Falls area, is that right?

current tally: 144118

So 144118/10 = 14411.8, round it down to 14411 (for I have not reach 144120 yet)

So 14411 is the Zip code for Albion, NY

MADERA - PA
Zip Code - 16661
White Population - 1,079
Black Population - 1

That poor guy!

That is a lame zip code with 666 in it.  I heard in passing on the news today about some town trying to get 666 out of their zip code.  Anyone beside me hear this story?  I googled News and the WWW for any story on it.  None found but I did find this little bit about Topeka, KS with its 666XX zip codes.

http://mysterychronicles.com/viewpost_408561.asp  I cannot speak for the accuracy and/or credibility of this site however.
