That would be the Household Cavalry based at the Barracks in St John's Wood, of on they way to keep the horses in trim from ceremoinal events.

Horse & carts.
That would be the Household Cavalry based at the Barracks in St John's Wood, of on they way to keep the horses in trim from ceremoinal events.
I sometimes see them on my way to work, when they approach Wormwood Scrubs, when I have to wait five minutes or so to cross the road.

will Love be new recordings of old hits or digitally remastered. I may have to look into this.
neither
Cirque du Soleil is an acrobatic circus. My friend took me and Susan to see it for our wedding gift. For the Las Vegas performances, they do a show that interprets the Beatles and has a 60's theme to it. They got George Martin (the fifth Beatle, one of many fifth Beatles, but perhaps more deserving than most of the title) to take a little trip through the back catalog and remix classic Beatles songs into new and strange ways. Entertainment Weekly gave it a good review and said the 5.1 mix is really interesting. They use a Live at the Hollywood Bowl recording for the back channels while a remixed version of the album version of one of the songs plays in the front speakers. Lots of studio chatter, and alternate versions (like from the Anthology collections).
I say it's good they didn't get some idiot dance remixer who knows nothing about the Beatles to cut something together. George Martin was very instrumental in helping to shape the sound of the Beatles.

hmmm... found a copy online real quick... it's not radically altered versions of the song...
though "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite/I Want You (She's so Heavy)" was mixed rather cool....

not really samples... it's the whole album.
it definitely gets funkier after the first couple tracks. I still haven't listened to the whole thing yet, but it's definitely interesting.

thanks Chucky, I am interested and will listen, & i have a freind who is a purist and will not ;D Like you stated earlier, with Sir George Martin at the helm, it's got to have some potential as he was a master at putting songs together for the Beatles.

But they are frightfully expensive! Perhaps on e-bay UK? might be cheaper.

I can understand that. :)
I search for Harrod's inventory online, apparently they don't carry any submarines (yellow or otherwise) nor any Beatles.
I doubt any other shops in London would have online access that I could search for, not that I know of anyways. ;D

I was gonna make a special photoshopped Abbey Road pic with all the lads' mothers on the road in honor of the American holiday "Mothers Day" (but I couldn't find a pic of George's mum), then I thought, welll maybe I should put in the wives too since they were mums too, then I started thinking, should I put in first wives as well or current wiives...then it just got too complicated and I decided not to do a photo afterall.

More properly you should say there's not a song called The Beatles either because that is the correct name of the album. And lots of bands do self-titled albums - just it's usually their first not their ninth
