Well, I made what is  an approximately 3-4 weekly call to my mother in the UK .......... about 5 hours back...... and she informed me she could see the torch going through ......... with snow falling. I couldn't believe snow was happening ... in the UK's beginning of Spring ............ though ... she DID inform / remind (?) me ....... that this HAD occurred ..... back in the early (?) 70's there ...........

I did build one, a smallish one whilst still in my dressing gown!(a very fetching full length leopard print furry one) 

I went out to feed the birds and test the snow (to see if it was good for rolling) and just got carried away. Himself was in stitches, no idea what the birds or the neighbours thought. The snowman fell over flat on his back after a few hours, one too many 'snowballs' obviously.  ;D

I should be shot !  >:( :-[  .... Damn. Lately, I've developed this amazing 'ability' .... to fall asleep whilst watching programs that interest me. I was there/ not there, to boot! Did most of the food preparation before meeting a friend earlier, but STILL managed to take me more than the available half hour before prog. started ... to cook a simple steak, peas, and potato meal. Once prog started, I was concentrating too much on meal, not on program. Managed to get a couple of interesting facts though ........

1. He told us that the hatching male Gekko, and the one from the other of the two eggs (not hatched was / would be male). What? I thought ... can you see anything obvious ?  ??? Turns out, like crocs too (if I remember right ... still groggy/ coming out of a sleep) would be automatically male depending on the temperature. A few degrees lower, they would hatch as females ! INTERESTING !  8)


2. Saw this 'puff adder' swallow a dead / paraylysed (?) baby deer whole. Much larger than this snake, but its elastic mouth was able to expand like you would not believe.  Took many hours for this snake to completely get the deer into its body. We were told this one meal ... could well be sufficient to keep the snake alive .... for up to a YEAR !  :o

Yeah, I fell asleep about 40 mins in to the 60 min show !  >:(    < 'Losing it' !  >:(    :-[    :(

it could have been, but when I got up, I went out to Scandia Family Fun Center in Fairfield, California.

I went to use their batting cages to get some hitting practice in.
