Running an anti-spyware detection program .... due to the very slow loading of some threads today. Just hanging for 30 seconds or more .... before a single picture shows up ! Probably the site, not my computer, but doesn't hurt to check...
About to hit that second coffee ! Shame I didn't remember to defrost the frozen milk yesterday, when the thought MOMENTARILY occurred. It soon slipped away, and now my coffee will be black ..... not so palatable, but liveable.
Next time I do mine it will be overnight.

I've noticed page loading can be slowed whilst the actual spyware detection program's running ...... but it shouldn't be slower at the conclusion / once you've closed that program.
I take it your spyware prog. found nothing ?

Not as often as I SHOULD apparently ! :-[ Damn ..... can't believe it's actuallly found something ! Mostly, it's reports are a thumbs up.
It tells me ..... 'Infected objects ... 1' (only half way through running, so far ..... ) ....

Well, I'll soon turf it off. I could have the anti-spyware running constantly with its resident shield .... but it sometimes seems to cause hiccups in my television tuner (in the computer) viewing / sound problems ..... so I often disable it, and run it manually. Wonder how that crap got on my machine ! :-[ :\'(

It certainly is, Phil, though I have some nightshift overtime to do on Thursday night. It's only for four hours but I get a bonus on top of that so it's worth it . . . besides, I can sleep in on Good Friday as I don't have to work that day or Easter Monday. 8)

I don't think caffeine is ever listed...I drink coffee, it's not even listed there. But chocolate does certainly have caffeine...if you find some that doesn't, tell me...it would help. Try online.

Not where you think.
I now believe it may have arrived via a window's update that I applied from a DVD. It's probably part of Microsoft's 'phone home' attempts. Some software told me I needed this Windows 'net frame 2.0' or some such stuff, so I installed it .... but probably didn't run spyware check after .....

Yes, us 'city folk' only turn on the colloquialisms when we wish to. I actually did work with both a Sheila and a Bruce in the same section once. When I was visiting out west 30 years back they tended to speak more like that but even that has changed.

Scrumpy jacks is pretty good. However, I seem to remember the local supermarket's brand (what chain was it ?) ... their wooded / oaked 3 litre bottle as being excellent value and taste ... (Sainsbury's ?) .

If you are going to get yourself cider, don't go for the cheap alternatives like 'White Lightening' or 'Frosty Jack'. They are awful!

Scrumpy jacks is pretty good. However, I seem to remember the local supermarket's brand (what chain was it ?) ... their wooded / oaked 3 litre bottle as being excellent value and taste ... (Sainsbury's ?) .
Yeah, Scrumpy Jacks, Strongbow and Woodpecker are the real deal. I don't know much about the Sainsbury's brand but they do tend to be better than normal cheaper alternative brands (the first time I got drunk was on White Lightning *shudder*).

It's like with everything, Alan. You get good versions and then crap versions of the same thing (like comparing Coca Cola to Happy Shopper Coke). Cheap cider is definitely getting a bad reputation here as 'the drunk tramp's escape route'.

I agree but you can ferment and drink almost anything edible. My grandad used to put out a jar of honey for bees and wasps to get stuck into to keep them away from the house and they actually started to ferment in the jar - not that I would suggest drinking 'bee wine', it might have a sting to it . . . :P ;D

Yes gibbo .... I like Strongbow too .... generally in preference to Bulmers, or the local relatively commonplace competitor, 'Mercury' from Tasmania. I usually go for the 'draught' version if available, followed by 'sweet' if not, then 'dry' in 3rd place.
I have come across some excellent Australian cider whilst passing near the 'Blue Mountains' area of Sydney, but sadly, not seen that bottle (whatever it was) in the local bottle shops.

Yes, apparently the bee wine tries to remove itself from the bladder but it is hooked and the more it pulls the more your stomach hemmorhages - it's a bloody mess I can tell you. Marginally worse than 'White Lightning', lol.
