One other note on that area... when I was a kid, I had a friend who lived in Tujunga, on Jay-Dee Circle (nearest to Mt. Gleason Middle School), which is very close to (less than a mile away from) Lonzo Street, but the shortest path between those streets is probably more than a mile long because there are no through roads to get across without going down to Hillrose Street. (There is a Renaissance Drive, but that is a private road, and part of a gated community, which is why the Sevenhills neighborhood must be accessed from Hillrose Street/Commerce Avenue.)

This friend and his family have since moved to Florida, and on last check, they are still living there.

But I agree; popcorn made at home is better than that in the cinema. In fact, the last several times I went to a cinema I did not eat any popcorn. The stuff can get too greasy. 8-P
