It's cute. It is black with white polka dots. It has a halter top and goes just past my knees. It is make out of silk/satin-something like that. Mine was about 50 dollars.  It felt like it took a half hour to fill too.  That had to be the slowest pump I have ever been to in my life.

I know.  The closest gas station (which is also the cheapest) has the slowest pumps known to man.  I think I've only filled up there once when they were running at anything CLOSE to what I'd call "normal" speed.  I went inside, got some drinks, came back out, cleaned both front & back windows and it was STILL running (and I put in less than 20 gallons) ::)

Seen turtles screw faster than these pump gas.  LoL.

Its a conspiracy.  I think they do it on purpose to have you sit there and look how much you are spending.  Its like a movie horror film.  The tension builds as the price goes up, ever so slowly.

If it's a really old petrol pump then the slower you fill the more petrol you get for your money.  The old ones used to count the number of turns made by a 'fan' in the fuel line and if you pumped slowly some fuel leaked around the outside of the fan blades.  Not sure how many of this type are still around though.

For some reason I have a hard time believing that now-a-days they would give you more gas for your money.

I just got done ordering special sliding shorts for the oldest for baseball.....$55 :o  Hopefully, these will help keep him from getting more bruises on his thighs (he's a catcher and these are more padded than regular ones) and keep his cup from shifting (one time, it flipped totally upside down :o) ;)

When I was younger, I used to be a huge tape-trader, living in Europe it was a great way to get new and exciting music. I've got tapes from Norway, Sweden, Israel, Belarus, Russia, Hungary, Estonia, Turkey, all over the place.. anyhow, a guy up the street was doing a yard sale, I looked through this box of tapes and it was great. Guns n Roses, Poison, Bon Jovi, Pantera, Ozzy, Hole.. I just said to him "How much for all of them?" 'Errr, $60?' "How's 40 sound?" '50' "Sure." Good deal, great stuff.

My dad used to go to Vermont about once a year for work and would always bring home some (so I've been spoiled for the "commercial" stuff)....the company he used to go see would send us some at Christmas, too.....they were the ones who told him that the Grade A is overpriced and not as good.

A new graphing calculator for my daughter.  She is taking the ACT again and a college math class this summer.  That was the reason for the trip to the store, but also picked her up a new small notebook (1 wk left in school and she runs out of paper)  ::) and a CD boxed set of Disco tunes for my dad for his b'day next week (got Mom same thing of Pavarotti).  (We can't buy them DVDs anymore because neither one knows how to get the TV back to satellite after watching the movie.)  ;D

We showed my mother in law how to set up the video and dvd (she doesn't have satellite) and she wrote down the instructions and keeps them with the remotes!

I did it through my IRA. I invested my entire IRA in mutual funds and stock (well, the GMC is the only stock). Of course, I really can't touch it for several years yet. If you go your bank (where you have your IRA) or your financial planner and inquire about it, they should be able to tell you how. And yeah, GMC is a GREAT company to invest in-not just because of profits but because of their social responsibility (which is the main reason why I invest in them).

She's just angry about the money my dad spent on the tv and dish that she has decided she doesn't want to learn.

I talked my mother into getting a dish (after hearing her complaining about her cable company). We managed to get her a bit of a discount (and we got a discount for signing her up). She LOVES it.
