Oooh, I remember buying Scantrons. There used to be a line for miles during Finals Week to get those things. Teachers never provided them for you.
Yeah, same here! We have to purchase them, too. I forgot to buy some last week and over the weekend I started panicking, thinking I wouldn't be able to get them in time before class, so I got up extra early to buy them and then when I got to class, it was canceled, lol.
I think what I've done in the past to avoid the long lines for Finals week is buy a packet of them ahead time, like I did today.
You have to/can buy those? I've never heard of that....they've always been provided for me....ya learn something new every day ;)

Looks like you might use them to answer multiple choice questions.
last thing I bought was a bag of cheese and onion crisps for my daughter to take to school. She nomally has school lunches but they are doing a special today of Chinese food and she wasn't keen on that so i made her sandwiches

We are responsible for making sure we have the appropriate items to take a test. It's college, not nursery school. They don't provide pencils, calculators, Scantrons...none of it. If you don't have what you need, you're SOL. Especially if it's a final. A classmate might be able to help you out, but it's not the professor's responsibility.

I've always had to buy them whenever I needed 'em. Same deal with bluebooks. I can't think of any one time in my loooonnng college career when my professor provided a scantron or bluebook. In a math class, however, we often write our solutions on the test.

I've attended 4 colleges since 1989 and have never had to buy them (the scantrons) and have never heard of it until on here.....guess it just depends on which school you go to (although, I've hit every type: private, public, junior)

That happened when we got our fridge a few years ago. We decided to keep it because they knocked 10% off the cost and the dent was hidden by a cabinet.

I bought a Burberry purse/wallet on shopgoodwill.com. It's guaranteed to be authentic so I'm excited because I got it for about 1/3 of what I'd spend on new ones and the pics I got from the shop looked pretty good (I requested closeups of the bottom and inside and there were no visible signs of wear except for 1 small scuff).

Depending on where you go and how much money you make, you can get them for free. I know some Planned Parenthood clinics use a graduated pay scale that, proportional to how much money you make is how much you'd pay for the pills.

it is tasty, just make spanish rice & mix ground beef seasoned however you like, you can even use a taco seasoning pagkage mix. it's easy to reheat and Julie likes it which is the tell tale sign to me if something I made is good ;D

nah, too expensive for my taste. I found a really cute retro looking pair at Target (black with white polka dots/lace...they are boycut)...I also found some nifty ones on Ebay (new of course ;)).
The last thing I bought was dinner for my mom tonight for her b-day. :) Oh, and we bought this crimson red area rug for our dining room...and a new slate coffee table for our livingroom! :)
