your daughter says something very sweet.
She had said a few weeks ago she didn't want me to help out in her classroom. I assumed it was because she was embarrassed about me. Turns out its because she knows that she'll be upset when I leave because she'd rather be at home with me than at school.

Yes I did. When I saw her for the final time (before she left the library), I asked if she'd gotten a new phone (because two months ago, her old phone was out of commission), and indeed she got one. She gave me her new number, and I had to give her mine again, because she'd lost it for some reason.

YES. I hate that!
Also hate when I have my VCR set up to record what I want, then I start watching something on a different channel (other then what is my program is supposed to be on and I get up to leave but forget to turn the channel back...so the VCR records the right time but wrong channel.) :\'(

I was surprise how easy it was. :o :o :o I said, "Since we are going to get the floor done, I would also like to get a new vanity. We have the room". But I think what really clinched it is the fact that I then said, "I'll pay for it". :D ;D ;D ;D That was all it took.

I found this as I was looking at tile.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=120179275224&Category=1338&_trksid=p3907.m29
I show it to Carlos saying that I want to do the floor in that tile. :D ;D ;D At first he said "NO!!" Then he said that I could buy a few of them and we could put them somewhere on the floor. Now, I'm wondering if I should take him up on that. I was joking at first but now he called me on my joke.

you have a perfect moment?
It doesn't happen nearly enough, but every once in awhile it happens... Today my little home office was transformed into "Giftwrap Central", I've been wrapping presents and listening to music all afternoon, it looks like a tornado ripped through here and I could care less... I've been 100% relaxed, excited to take the gifts for my co-workers to work on Monday, not stressing about anything at all, and then when "Fanny Be Tender" by the Bee Gees came on, it was just one of those moments where I suddenly felt like I was on top of the world... I don't know how to explain it, hopefully you know what I'm talking about... I think the word is euphoric? (im not sure)
Then I started thinking about what I'm going to make for dinner, that I am late taking my car in for its regular service, and that I have this huge mess of wrapping paper scraps & boxes & bags & tape to clean up and the moment was over... but it was great while it lasted!!

When what goes around comes around really fast. A co-worker who became a fast and good friend was employed by a government contractor. The friend was complaining to his company about human services short comings that were plaguing him to the point that he could not get his job done because of access problems that his company could have very easily fixed. He was very publicly fired and escorted off the installation. A few months later the guy who fired him was caught up in a contracting kick back scandle and has pleaded guilty to the charges in a plea bargain and got 7 years federal time. Sentence is to start next month. My friend wound up getting a much better job on the same installation for a better contractor. Yes there is justice and sometimes we get to see it.

DYLIW ..... you learn something new ..... that corrects your faulty 'understanding' (?) ???
Wonder if anyone else here was similarly mistaken in the assumption / confusion ... :-A child board is a board which is placed within a parent board. Such boards are not usually visible when viewing the categories on the board index. These can be very useful when you want to split up discussion from a board which covers a broad topic. It can also help keep things organized, when one subject is directly related to another.
There's no limit on how many boards you can make child boards, but it's a good idea to do it only when necessary. Making a board a child board, while only an aesthetic difference, also makes it more difficult to use. Child boards must, however, be shown directly under their parents in places such as the search page and the jump to boxes. This just means that you cannot separate the child and its parent.
So ... 'Penguin Ratings' .... which I've only just clicked on as a link for the first time .... ) thinking it was referring to the rating of PPP as a 'Child intended board' :-[ ) .... AND 'The Writing on the Walrus' ..... are merely 'Child Boards' in terms of being ... 'Sub boards'
That is, 'boards within a board !' :o

'Child Board'
Thought that might relate to the 'rating' of a particular area of the board in terms of age suitability (like films, PG, MA, X) ......i.e., perhaps PPP was generally rated as INTENDED for viewing by very young people.
A google search reveals the TRUE picture:
