Well, I have begun to feel better already...but I'm still not totally out of it yet.

I didn't quite feel 100% on Tuesday, when I graduated, but I was definitely feeling normal. Just a lot of crap in my nose to blow. Now I think it's all gone.

i had a cold for about 2 days, maybe in Dec, and a short cold also in March, but last week I attained 1 year attendance without calling in sick. now I can call in sick and take a week off and sleep  ;)

Yesterday. I had a headache for several hours and it knocked me out cold. By 10:00 last night I was better. I hate it when I get pain and it prevents me from accomplishing what I intend to do for a certain day. :(

Now (and have been sick for the past 3 days).  I've been coughing, nose running and today I feel like I gotta throw up and am having a hard time breathing.

I HATE being sick.  (Not that anybody really likes being sick...well maybe if they have a good-lookin' nurse... Nope not even then.)  8-P

I had Shingles about a month ago.  That was a nightmare.

It's very painful.  It's not a normal pain either, it's real nerve pain.  I lost part of my sight in my left eye because of nerve damage.  I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Pretty much except for my eye.  There is a vaccination out for Shingles, I'd recommend it for everyone.

It's caused by the virus that produces chicken pox.  If you have the pox then you may get shingles, because the virus hides out in the nervous system.  That's why stress can cause it.

I know it was a (normally) connected to a childhood illness.

This past Monday afternoon/evening. My head was hurting...probably from eating too much candy during the weekend. I did start to feel queasy at one point, but I took a tylenol and I felt better again on Tuesday morning.

I got sick two weeks ago and lingered for over a week.  :(

I feel all right for now. I haven't been sneezing as much today.

I am rarely sick.  I don't catch the common cold very often and I can't remember when I last had the flu.  I had a stomach flu about 7 years ago. 

I was sick a little over a year ago with a slight lung infection. 

Now, with an eye infection (also on my face a little)

I've been feeling pretty good lately (physically), so nothing else to report.

I woke up with post nasal drip and will not be up to a great deal of computer activity today. Right now I'm just getting a little MB fix.

Yes it is. In fact, I think I was completely better a couple days or so after you made that post. :) And I think that day was the last time I was truly sick.

Earlier this week, but a lot better now and I have been back to work.

Right now, this past 10 days (skin infection, taking anti-biotics), but it's better these past 2 days

that's too bad :-completely over my recent cold on Tuesday. By the time I went to bed that night, I was finally feeling 100% again.

I had that bad cold/cough since New Year's Eve! I was coughing up a storm. I probably got it from people at church. Over the weekends I stayed in bed. I didn't get up unless I had to go to the bathroom or eat lunch and dinner. I've practically drowned myself in Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup and Lipton Honey Lemon Tea. I also went through many Ricola cough drops for days. But now I feel 100% better thanks to my prescription to Azithromycin (antibiotics), which I had to take one tablet a day for three days, and Tusso-C cough medicine, which has power over NyQuil and Robitussin. At first, I thought that I had some kind of respiratory infection from the way I coughed the last time since I tend to have a weak and sensitive immune system. But it turned out that I had serious chest cold. I also hate it when I had to rub Vicks on my neck because it's sticky, greasy, and messy.
