I watched the Lost In Lost season on E4 until about 1:30 this moning. Just back-to-back episodes with Lost: Revealed straight after it. It continues tonight with another 4 epsiodes, but i'll miss the first because of work  >:(

The 117th Tournament Of Roses Parade, on KTLA-5...which always airs the parade commercial-free. 8) Actually, they air it without commercials between 8:00 and 10:30, when it's live, but they air encore presentations throughout the day, and they stick in commercials every 15-20 minutes or so. That's why I often like to tape it, but this year we didn't feel like it; we watched it live. Also, the parade went rather well, despite the rain comin' down.

Yeah they just started new epsidoes last Tuesday.  I agree, some of the things are absolutely horrible what they make them do.  Tonight, the final face-off between the two contestants, they had to sit there and get real tattoos somewhere on their body and still concentrate enough to answer questions.  And when the round was over, and the "loser" of the round, if their tattoo wasn't finished, well tough, you left the show without having the tattoo artist finish it.  Egads!  I think I'd have to leave the show even before they started, cause I'm too much of a wuss to even want to get a tattoo.  lol

In the process of watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition.  The house they are fixing is full of black mold.  It is so bad the family had to move because they couldn't get help getting rid of it.  There are even mushrooms growing on the floor.  I have a feeling the house will be just burned to the ground and then start over.  Black mold is some nasty stuff.

that show ROCKS. I love how kind the team is and how emotional they get with each family's personal situation.

I know.  I totally love it, too.  Did you see the one with the 29 year old mom of two small children that had died a couple of months before?  When the 6 yr old got this look on her face and busted into tears I went into the full on ugly cry.  Then when I stopped, they interviewed Paige and she was in the ugly cry so I went right back.  I just wanted to take that little girl and protect her from the big bad world.  At least her daddy was there for her.  Damn, now I am getting all misty eyed again just thinking about it.

An episode of "Friends" on TBS. More specifically, the one entitled "The One With Rachel's Inadvertent Kiss." I've seen this one several times in the past five years, but I didn't mind seeing it again. The main event in this episode is Rachel inadvertently kissing her job interviewer on the cheek while trying to make her way out. Meanwhile, Joey, looking out the window at Ross pretending to surf by the window, sees an attractive lady across the way as well, and tries to find her apartment. Referring to her as "Hot Girl", he goes over to the building and keeps ending up at Ross's apartment. Ross eventually meets the woman and makes a date with her, so when Joey goes to the correct apartment, Ross answers the door again and Joey thinks he's made yet another mistake.

Also, Chandler and Monica try to prove they're a better couple than Pheobe and Gary (who she'd met in the previous episode after she found a lost police badge).

Haven't watched anything today, but the last thing I did watch was "Full House" last night. It was episode #149, entitled "Fast Friends"; I've seen this particular ep several times. Stephanie is desperate to make friends at her new middle school, and when she finally makes one (Mickey), she finds out that Mickey's friends like to smoke, so Steph isn't sure that she wants to be around Mickey. Meanwhile, Jesse and Joey add a call-in segment to their radio show, where DJ, Kimmy and Steve help older kids with problems. Steph calls the show about her problem, pretending to be a German exchange student named Olga; this part I enjoyed the best. "Uh, I am junior high student, uhm, new to America (Steph is shown)... my problem ees that a group of new friends, uh, vants for me to, uhm, smoke, uh, vaht do you call, um, ceegarattes?" ;D

I have given up on comparing TV adaptations of famous book, did you see how much Morse The Way Through The Roads was torn to shreds?

I am only familair with Morse via the TV.  I don't think I've read any of his books.  Maybe a short story published in the Sunday supplements or something.

The books are well written, but as in all cases, a lot has to be left out to incorporate a two hour slot (with commercials).

I turned on the tv and Mr Rogers neighbohood was on, and I had just remarked yesterday that I thought lady Elaine was hot, but was corrected by Beth in that what I meant was Lady Eberlin was hot, not the puppet thing. Today Lady Eberlin attached a special sticker to her forehead and she turned into a tiger, & called herself Tiger Eberlin. She was kinda sexy in her tiger outfit as she was prowling around. Does anyone find this infatuation odd?  ;D  While this may seem odd, I find Tia's infatuation with Lady Elaine rather curious  ;D

"Price Is Right." It's the first thing I've watched on TV the entire week. Which reminds me...on Monday night I was so tired that I'd forgotten about "Courting Alex"...and it didn't even occur to me 'til the next day! :o
