Lots has been happening. School started back up, work  (as usual), and today I went for an interview for a better job. It is with a large company, managing of course. I think I got the job, but I have to wait until Wednesday to find out.

That is quite alright. It took me quite a while to learn. I am just figuring out which ones I like and which I don't care as much for.

Well it does not appear that there is much going on out here, so I am going to go soak in a nice warm tub and call it a night.

I don't know my drinks and when my parents gave me wine it seemed way too strong for me.  My aunt has given me gin tonic in the past and I had two glasses no problem.

Ahh...I got about halfway thru on the computer game "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" where they ended up on the Heart of Gold ship with Marvin the Paranoid Android and they went into the steamroom, but I couldn't get any farther...  oh well.

I tried to read the series, but I'm unfortunately not a big fan of Sci-fi as pertaining to the written word (although I like t.v. series and movies that are sci-fi based.  I haven't seen either the movie or television series for Hitchiker's guide though)

I find it hard to drink green beer on St Paddy's day. Beer just shouldn't be green!  But after the first 10 or so I also find I tend to care less......... ;)

At one stage ..... thought I might venture into a pub specially to check out food offerings ... have a beer .... but then forgot ...... and it was totally just another day for me (saw no sign of celebrations). Being a Monday here, probably didn't help ?

Over here in the states, we have a water filtration system for the home faucet called "Pur" with the "u" enlongated so that it sounds like "pure".  I don't know if it makes water really taste any more pure then just right out of the tap, but here, here is some Pur water

;D  Yeah I suppose you could.  I, personally, was talking about the drink, Fuzzy Navel = Orange Juice, Peach Schnapps, and occasionally (depending on who is making it) I think some bartenders add a little vodka too (although I prefer just the Orange Juice and Peach Schnapps version only.  I consider Orange Juice and Vodka to be another drink called a "Screwdriver", and I'm not really into tools too much.  :D

As for the other meaning of a fuzzy navel, no thanks, already got one.  8-P

Can't say as I ever have.  I've only had a very small array of drinks when I used to drink.  I've had Mai Tais, Pina Colada, frozen Strawberry Dacquri, or I had one that was Peach Dacquri once too, and Fuzzy Navels and Screwdriver.  Otherwise it was wine coolers, wine, or Zima (malt liqour drink I think?).  I once had a shot of Vodka because it was bought for me.  I'm really was not much of a drinker, I mostly went to listen to the bands that played.  I could nurse a drink for most of the evening and I bought alot of Ginger Ales or Pepsis.

If you ever feel like trying something lightweight-yet-decent, I recommend a Shandy Gaff.

1/2 beer (I suggest a lighter ale, such as a Belgian White or Canadian White)
1/2 Ginger Ale

Works out very well- quite tasty, and yet not something one drinks to get drunk.

Well really, my drinking days are over.  They advise you not to drink when you are on insulin (at least that is what is one of warnings on the bottle of one of my medications anyways.)  So I come here for virtual drinks.  ;)  :)
