Saved! ...again. I just like it..one of the few teen movies where you like the teens. And none are particularly gorgeous nor famous.
and the performances are good. and I always love it when the rotten ones get it in the end.

In The Heat of the Night - 1967
Quite a gripping thriller, won the Academy Award for best picture in 1967. A good portrayal of race relations in the South in the Civil Rights era.

I got a couple of movies from some Christian place, they we awful!! I mean the message was good but the aniamtion stunk, I hated them. Megan wanted to watch them over and over, those got "scratched". ::)

Watched King Kong last night - wow! What a great movie with some really choice scenes in it.
I was expecting the long haul (the movie is about 3 hours long) but it didn't feel like that so was pleasantly relieved.

I have only seen a handful of Johnny Depp films, and what I have seen of him, I have enjoyed his films.

The Princess Bride. It's one of my closest friend's favourite movies and it's a bit of a mini-classic, yet somehow I had managed to never see it in the whole first 23 years of my life. I finally got around to it. Very cute movie. :)

Harrison Ford seems to choose to be in a lot of very formulaic, forgettable movies these days. Does anyone else have that impression or is it just me? Yet he seems like the sort of guy who'd want to choose more interesting or challenging roles for himself... Maybe they're just not available to him anymore though. I don't know.
I am looking forward to the fourth Indiana Jones movie though! :)

you know...I was thinking the exact same thing, while watching this movie last night. He seems like he would always go outside the box and not choose movies which are in a sort of "comfort zone". I think he is capable of being a good actor, he has shown that with earlier movies. I loved the Indiana Jones movies!

Yes, they played it like 3 times in a row on the premiere night, which I believe was last Sunday night. I watched the end thinking, "Hey, this may not be too bad." but the kid who played Stiffler's younger brother was annoying as hell because he tried to act so much like Stiffler with the "dufus" looking face.

yeah, it's pretty amusing. my daughter was your daughters age when she liked PeeWee. I am not sure what made me think of pulling out that old VHS movie, but I'm glad i did. 8)

Cat People (1982) Usually the orginal is so much better than the remake but this is one exception. Definately MUCH better than the 1942 orginal and its 1944 sequal (Curse of the Cat People).

'She's The Man' - standard, formulaic Hollywood fare. I didn't think Amanda Byrnes was that convincing playing her 18-year old brother...but that's not the thing that took away from my enjoyment of the movie. Truth be told it wasn't that dull, and it did have its perky moments, but overall it was pretty forgettable.

the recent version of War of the Worlds.
i must be allergic to it or something; it's a pretty bad movie...inconsistent, a poor performance by Cruise, a really really awful performance by Tim Robbins, sloppy editing....BUT a GREAT show by Dakota Fanning.

ohh...i guess i should mention it made me cry...
scared children, panicky rioters, slowmoving machinery and aliens.....all the thiings I don't like.

i like how it made that foghorn noise and blew out a bunch of steam right before it started wasting everybody. spooky.

yeah i like that too...
oh. other things i hate that are in that movie. growing roots...ew. sticking straws in people. ew ew. all my issues were wrapped up in a piece of fiction.
i should start a religion now, based on it.
