Yep, went through a tough divorce, found someone, we both went through some tough times and were apart for a while, I found someone I that I thought was what she ended up not being, a lot more heartache and finally found that I had what was right all along. The ending was a shock to me too, which is what made it so great.  The movie was so intense, you had no idea how it would end.  With most horror films, you can guess the ending within like the first 15 minutes of the movie, but this one really throws you for a loop :)

Speaking of horror, I cannot wait to go see the re-make of "The Fog", Fog. I hope its as decent as the Texas Chainsaw Massacre re-make. Because most horror re-makes suck.

One of the things that made The Fog a particularly good horror film to me was the concept of it; the plot. This town on the sea got rich from turning off the light in a lighthouse causing a bunch of pirates to wreck ashore then they loot the ships, then 100 years later a fog rolls in and they come back for revenge. Its an original and chilling concept, no?

"El dia que me qiera"(The Day You Love Me), a very wonderful Venezuelan film. It takes place in 1935 amid a revolution. The main character is a teacher who is secretly a Communist, and its about his relationsnip with a woman thats been going on for 10 years, and they are planning to leave the country to go to a collectiove in the Ukraine. While they are trying to get their plans together to leave, a famous singer named Carlos Garnel(i think that was his lastname) comes to visit. Nice little film, somewhat of a musical.

It was for my Spanish class.

Well, last night I was watching some of "Rookie Of The Year" on ABC Family, about a 12-year-old boy who becomes a star pitcher for the Chicago Cubs. I had seen it in the movie theater in July 1993 on my 13th birthday.

Last movie I saw was "Shattered Glass".  It was really interesting, based on a true story about a young journalist, Stephen Glass, who wrote for the New Republic and fabricated several of his stories.  He eventually got caught with one totally bogus article titled "Hack Heaven".
