It's stopped snowing!

We've had the coldest December 1st in recorded history. Daytime temperatures were hovering around -5°C/23°F max, but it felt like -16°C/3°F taking into account the windchill factor.

We've also had some snow, but not in large amounts. Maybe an inch or so. Some more snow expected tonight and tomorrow. After that, temperatures will be rising somewhat to a slightly more comfortable +4°C/39°F max for the weekend. Still frosty at night, though.

Snow has been disrupting this country for the past days. In some places over 30cm has fallen. Not here, thankfully, but the snow and freezing conditions cause extremely slippery/icy roads.

Light showers of snow are expected today in the northeast. Other than that, mostly dry with possibly some sunny spots. Still cold, with temps just below freezing.
Tomorrow and Tuesday will be much the same. After that, it appears as though it's gonna be slightly less cold. But there's also snow on the way...We could be heading for a white Christmas.
