The clouds are really dark, but you can tell the sun's trying it's hardest to peep through because it's very light over near the coast

The odd cloud here and there.

It's 80 degrees (fahrenheit) and sunny, so I've been trying to take advantage of the warm & dry to get some work done, outside.  Unfortunately, the winds are gusting so fiercely, off and on (mostly on,)  that I've had to give up and wait for them to die back down to a strong breeze, several times.  So even though I've gotten a lot done, the work is still going a lot slower going than I'd  like. 

I'm so beyond sick of hearing the wind whistle and howl... it's nonstop for months on end, here... it's enough to drive a person mad ---  aaaaaauuuuggggghhhhhh!

Today marked the end of the nice weather and the appearance of the Sun in Sunderland for the first time in 72 years. Let us never forget that big ball of light and heat and stuff in space that we all spin round, for it has served us well over the years, and has proved itself very useful in many ways. Both in giving us tans and giving us page 3. The sun, we salute you and i'll never forget what you look like...especially not now your image is eternally scarred into my eyes after that staring contest we had (the sun won, btw)
