A mix of wind and rain for the past several days.

Since I returned from Cali the weather has been excellent, a bit chilly but not bad.  I think Tam may have been full of doody when she complained about the cold and snow!

Well it was pretty cold here those weeks you were away and I think it's colder further north where you are.  Plus the boy was complaining about shovelling, so it wasn't just Tam being a wimp.

A turnaround from the weekend...it's all cloudy and the rain is starting. I need to go soon.

Dry with clear spells this evening, but cloud will thicken later bringing a few spots of rain here and there later in the night, lingering in Sussex and Kent until the morning, but clearing most other places.

Glorious rain!!!  Not a lot, mind you, but it just proves that my Cartoon Rain Dance works!!!  Now maybe my yard will green up a bit and the brush fires will stop a while.  We definitely need more rain, but it was wonderful to hear all that thunder and see a bit of lightning!  I didn't even mind the soggy drive to work this morning!  It started late last night and only stopped around noon. Looking forward to some more soon!  You know if I'm in Florida and actually WANTING rain, it must be bad....

According to weather.com (since I am currently nowhere near a thermometer), it is 46 and feels like 41.  Gotta tell you that I was outside about an hour ago and it felt colder than that.  I think it is only about 36 in this room, too!    >:(

So we've had a rather pleasant day today. Mostly sunny, with temperatures into the lower 20's (68 - 73°F) - which is well above average for this time of year. I'm not complaining, though. ;)

But earlier this evening, (thunder) clouds have been forming. They're lined up from the southeast to the northwest, and slowly moving in that direction as well - which means they're ALL passing me by. I've seen more thunder in the past few hours than I usually get to see in an entire summer. At times there are over 10 discharges a minute. :o (Not all the time thankfully) Some heavy showers as well. It's coming and going...
There's another heavy thundercloud above me as I'm typing... Lightning and thunder...
Wait...I can hear sirens now. Sounds like the fire brigade. Oh gosh...Has something been struck by lightning? :-\\ I can't see any fire from here.
