Rather cloudy at times but mostly dry, although a little patchy light rain or drizzle is possible in places, but with some bright or sunny spells for most.

A nice sunny & warm start to September and Spring (but it's been spring weather for the last month almost). A bit cooler tomorrow with a change in wind direction. Tuesday brings winter back with cold and possible snow somewhere.

Today:
Patchy, light rain in some eastern parts of the region will die out, with occasional bright or sunny spells developing across most of the area.

The first morning that portends the beginning of fall.  Cool, crisp, bright. I love New England in the fall  :)

Has definitely been cooling down over the past few days. During the past week of August, as I was starting my fall semester at CSUN, the local temps were over 100+ degrees F. Now they're probably no more than 90.

A dry evening with some warm sunshine at first. Cloud will gradually increase overnight but it should stay dry. A mild night but with a freshening westerly breeze.

Rather cool in the wind today, but a mostly fine day. Clouded over around lunch time, looked like it was going to rain. Cleared by 1pm. A mild 14°C high today. Tomorrow: 15°C and some cloud.

Apart from a few isolated light showers it will be dry and bright, with sunny periods developing. Rather brisk northwesterly winds, will turn northerly and later ease off.

It's in the mid 50's right now and it'll get in to the mid 60's for the high, I hope this carries on all autumn, but I know it will crawl back up in to the 90's before too long.

After so many months of 100+ temperatures, 50 actually feels kinda cold, I like it.

In contrast, Luke,  just across the pond, it's like that Carpenters song 'Top of the World' here. 'Not a cloud in the sky, got the sun in my eyes'.  Just blue sky everywhere, currently approx 62 F, 17C, at around 3.20pm local time. There is a bit of a cool nip in the air still, so light jacket, jeans would be what most people would be wearing.

Just the opposite here! It has now reached the predicted max of 34 C !  That's in the low 90's F. Given that it's not summer here (officially) till December 1st ...  :-X

That temp is 12 C above the expected average temp. for this time of year!

Apart from being bloody hot ... we have experienced very powerful wind gusts throughout the day. I've had my blinds closed the whole time ... and, since I have no air conditioning ... I'm pleased to say that this unit feels a lot cooler in this kind of heat, compared to where I was before. Quite comfortable!  8)

When I visited Kensington Gardens a couple of years later ........ the devastation was quite obvious .

Well, with the wildfires going on, mixed in with the Santa Ana winds from earlier this week, it sure doesn't help. 90-anything degrees is not typical for my area anyway at this time of year.

We're cooling off a bit today. Right now it's at 62F. It is a little windy out.

cool rainy and wet upper 50's to near 60.

Cloud will lift and break a little, mist patches forming, but these lifting later as a southwesterly breeze picks up towards morning. Patchy drizzle at first but generally dry.

A little warmer and hazy, lower 80's.

Weather forecast for tonight: dark. Continued dark overnight, with widely scattered light by morning.

I was bringing Julie home from San Jose this evening and the moon was yellow and just rising over the hills as we neared home. it was a amazing sight

I saw it rising over Coogee beach (half an hour from my current address) some years back. It was amazing at that time. Like a HUGE  Chinese lantern. I'd never seen it so big / so big since. Roughly 3 to 4 times it's usual size. Can't explain why that was, though.

Today:
Staying mostly cloudy, with a few outbreaks of light rain here and there, and with southwesterly winds increasing to be rather gusty in places later.

Rain tapering off to clearing later.

It is teeming down out there.

Pleasant, mid-80's.

Today:
Outbreaks of rain will affect many places this morning but this should clear by early afternoon. Mainly dry conditions will follow with sunny spells. Noticeably cooler with a moderate northwest breeze.
