Gotta say it's been warmer here than it obviously has been around Gabble Ratchet way. But normally September signals the rapid post-August hot weather decline. Unfortunately, we haven't had so much of that weather this August as we did around May/June time. Sucks really. That's what it's like being here, though.

Sunny and hot. I've noticed, only on the hottest days, large numbers of bees converge on the ouside walls around my front porch. They gather in clusters from only a few to ten or so...

Same here. Very rarely do we see temperatures above 90 in Oxnard, CA; that kind of thing doesn't often happen. But it did today. :P

By the way, today is Autumnal Equinox; it's officially fall now (that is, in the northern hemisphere).

mod to add: In a way, I'd like it to be warmer so I didn't look so goofy wearing my sandals, but I scratched the top of my foot over the weekend and can't wear shoes as the scratch is right where the shoes bend near the toes and it hurts like hell!

I used to do that. 25 just doesn't sound warm does it?
Now though I've learnt to think in decimal all the time. Then US people come here complaining of it be very cold with temps in the 50's and I'm like huh? ???

About a year ago (in fact, during the last week of October) we had brush fires in Southern California, at or near the Santa Susana Mountains. They could be smelled from far away.

After having an earthquake yesterday (3.9 and I know that doesn't really count as weather), we got hit with a massive storm at five this morning. Flood like waters falling from the sky, gale force winds, and thunder and lightning. It was awesome. Now it's all clear and cold again.

The high yesterday was 67 at one of the school net stations....I love it because they keep track of the temperature at all the schools covering the city....it's ALWAYS warmer at at least one of them than it is at the airport...which is where they say it's the :Official" high ::) Yeah right, like anybody LIVES at the airport! Anyway, it's supposed to be in the low 70's today :)

Wasn't too bad today, except we did have a small amount of rain at about 3:30 or so...but the rain was gone by 4:30. I didn't have an umbrella with me, though.

It is three minutes to midnight where I am and I am sweating >:( And it's still two and a half months to the middle of summer. :\'(

I know exactly how you feel, Fuss. Over where I am, it's usually cooling down a bit around this time of year...but it's not! I mean the moment I get out of the shower I am sweating! I HATE this feeling more than anything! I would desperately like to live in a temperate climate!!! :(

Can't complain (now there's a surprise...!) about today...glorious autumn sunshine, albeit on the cool side (well, c'mon...it is November...!)
And a nice cold one tonight - extra thermal vest needed...

Dark Dark & Darker.. grrr, this is annoying.. it was mildly chilly.. but it's gonna be cold.. like properly by Friday, we had the first ground frost of the year earlier, or maybe the 2nd.

Just a point.. if that was true.. we are all screwd.. well anybody living near the coast.. if the Arctic melted sea levels would rise and basically drown a whole hell of a lot of people.. or make a lot of land unuseable.. it could of course be diverted, but then Bushie wouldnt be able to build some more missiles ::)

Yeah the same kind of light drizzle, it got heavy for a short period of time whilst i was on the Bus but unlike normally it actually ceaced once i got off the Bus..

The fine drizzle turned into snow by late afternoon. It settled on the roofs and grass but hardly at all on the paths.
