There is a local, family owned liquor store here in the Houston area called Spec's Liquor that has an increadable stock of imported beers, wines and even fine foods.

Have you tried any of their other beers?  Goliath is good so is White Witch or Crop Circle.


I have one called Wychwood Bah Humbug Christmas in the 'fridge that I have not tried yet. I will look for the Goliath and White Witch and Crop Circle brews today when I'm at Spec's (thanks for the tip). I've been on a Hobgoblin kick ever since I tried it last weekend. Before that it was Young's Double Chocolate Stout and Young's Oatmeal Stout that I would drink on poker night.

My gums were never an issue.  I have an abscess infection in the upper left wisdom tooth.  In order to keep the amount of food coming into contact with it down to a minimum, I need to eat soft foods or soups....stuff that doesn't require a lot of/no chewing.  After the surgery, I won't be able to intake anything but liquids for about 3 days.

Oh hell no.  You have to have a consultation with the oral surgeon first.  All we went over today is the procedure itself, how long it would take, the drugs I'd be on during it, the drugs I'd need after it, and other considerations.  Besides, I can't afford to have all 4 teeth taken out in one fell swoop.  I'm removing the infected tooth first, and then when I am finanically able, I'll go back and have the other 2 that have erupted taken out.

took Julie and her friend to Paramount Great America theme park a couple years ago, in the evening Aaron Carter performed at the amphitheatre, but the opening act were some young dudes from back east and all thruout their performance they would yell at the crowd "What's up San Francisco"!!!!  now this park is in Santa Clara, closer to San Jose & about 40-50 miles from SF but we had to hear that greeting about 10 times. "What's up San Francisco"!!!!    >:(

I will say its questionable if you've never been to the city. I'd say if you're the type of person that works and plays in the city but happens to live in the suburb, its definitely acceptable to identify with the city.

I do that too. Most people here probably think I live in Pittsburgh, or very close to it...because it's the largest city near me...but actually, I live about 45 minutes from Pgh. :D
