Yes, my computer was built and had a pirate copy of XP on it. I ended up screwing the Windows up so I had to buy it in the end (£85 it cost me! No wonder people want to copy Windows).

Yes.  I have a strep infection with a rash (basically scarlet fever).  Luckily, hubby stayed home yesterday and I slept almost the ENTIRE day and was in bed asleep at 9 pm.  I haven't done that in almost 10 years :o  I feel 100x better today, though.

The first few weeks we had our little dog we worried about that; so we kept her in the laundry room. Later we began closing the doors downstairs (and upstairs) and left the TV on. Whenever she needs to do business now, she lets us know by jumping around and running to the back door. She hasn't left a "present" since July 16, 2003, and it was just a small puddle.

You can try rubbing Lavender oil or Eucalyptus oil (both are to be used EXTERNALLY only) on the area. (You can mix it with a bit of vegetable oil)  Red pepper or ginger can be used a pain killer.

I certainly HIW there's an accident on the railroad tracks on the way home, especially one that forces everyone off at a certain station and having to be bussed (transported by bus) through an excrucaiting traffic jam. And as a result, I was an hour late getting home. >:( That's what I experienced coming home today. But that's not all. Since the accident was on the track, they had to shut down a portion of a road that runs alongside the tracks, forcing all westbound traffic onto the other arterials, creating severe backups. So it was 6:50 when we finally got home this evening (instead of 5:55), and it was about 7:00 when we finally ate dinner. (Fortunately my mom had had the dinner all prepared and ready to eat, so we didn't have to wait so long for that.)

(I hope that's the case.) :-[ I can't count on it, but I hope it turns up somewhere.

Well, yesterday I went back to the math department office...still no sign of my textbook, but they had a copy of it there, and the person behind the counter said she would make photocopies of all the necessary pages I had to study from. So I found those pages, and I got photocopies made. I still have to wait until Monday (at the earliest) to see my book again. If it doesn't turn up, I will have to buy a new one...for $100.00! :o :o :o

Well, it's been raining hard for at least the past 16 hours or so...what I really HIW is when I have to travel extra distance just to catch the train because of a storm. As if last month's storm wasn't bad enough...

I like to be at home when it's wet outside. Both my parents have the day off today. But not me...

I can relate, Cat! What's worse for me though is when I go to get something, and then I forget what I went there to get...and it's made worse by the fact that once I get back to the other room I usually remember :D

Oh yeah.. it's amazing how the incorrect spelling of a certain word can be the correct spelling of another word...that's why you can't always trust spellcheckers.

People cut down forests, esp old growths.

At our lake property, one of the builders we talked to wanted to cut down the trees to make it easier to build the house....we're talking 100' trees here, not just some wimpy ones....we said "Thanks, but no thanks" ;)

Oh yeah...that's happened to me lotsa times. I HIW I have one and it "knocks me out" so to speak. (IOW, I often feel like I can't live my normal life.)

Well, I finally puked last night so I felt better.  It's gone today THANK GOD!!!  When I get them, I have no choice but to keep on truckin' as I have the boys to take care of and hubby's usually out of town :(  There have been a couple of times when he was in town that I had to call him to come home, though.  On those occasions, I take some drugs, turn all the lights off in the bedroom, put in earplugs, an icepack on my head and just lay there because it hurts to even move :(

I'm glad to hear you're feeling better, crazymom. :) Sometimes when I feel the pressure coming on, I take something before it can escalate to pain. But I can't usually do that unless I'm at home. :-\\
