Subject: Ohioans Vote Down Restrictions on Public Unions
Written By: LyricBoy on 11/09/11 at 8:29 am
Been reading that the recently-passed restrictions got voted down in the state refurendum.
I thought the restriction was silly anyway. Workers should certainly be allowed to organize. Nobody is holding a gun to government negotiators when they sign silly contracts with unions. They have only themselves to blame for expensive contracts.
Of course I also support the right of the government to hire replacement workers in the event of a strike if and when the government negotiators decide to hold the line on contract renewal terms.
