I almost agree with her.  My difference is this:

Abolish money, not taxes.

As long as mankind has had currency (not barter), we've had taxes.  Taxation and debt are the reasons for currency.  Who needs that kind of misery?  Taxation and debt indicate civilization.  Civilization indicates government.  We don't need government in our lives, do we?  We don't need civilization either.  That's a lot of book-learnin' and paying know-it-alls to think for us.  All we need is Free Trade.  If you build me a new barn, I'll trade you produce from my gardens.  We're both happy.  No government involved.  Now, if I have to pay you dollars instead of potatoes, then we have to have a bank and rules about the bank, and it just gets complicated all over again.

Of course, Bachmann did betray herself as the Big Gummint socialist she is.  She said we do have to give up money to run the government.  I guess she thought of her salary and the medicaid reimbursements hubby got for praying away the gay!
