I hate posting Palin stories... but um, come on. Even the Onion wouldn't have bothered writing a story that easy.

At least with Bush and Obama, you can know who they're working for and can plan accordingly. The Palin/Bachmann crowd, not so much.

Her daughter, Piper, who she trotted out for photo ops gotta be happier about this than she was about the trip. She looked miserable throughout the whole thing. Says a lot about Palin.

I was in the local coffee shop and a guy, one of the regulars, said "I'd vote for Palin, she is better than any of the guys running". Me and another guy, total stranger, looked at each other and started to laugh...and we laughed and laughed and laughed, and the regular got up and left, and we laughed some more. ;D ;D

I have conservative friends who think Palin is awesome. I know them through church. Anyway, I was at their house for dinner and they started talking about how SMART Palin is and what a great job she did running Alaska. Very awkward. It's hard to eat prime rib with a poker face. Look, somebody takes me into their home and serves me a steak dinner, I ain't gonna laugh at 'em...even if their politics are NUTSO!

Didn't she say it wasn't a tour but a vacation at one point in time? I guess if people don't take notice of her than she cuts her vacation short.
