Subject: Weather, Politics, and God
Written By: Don Carlos on 05/24/11 at 10:48 am
A friend suggested that the crazy weather we are having in VT (rain almost every day since it stopped snowing) was God punishing us for voting democrat. I responded that if that were the case we would have to assume that all the massive tornadoes was God punishing the mid west for voting Republican. I guess that means God wants us to vote Socialist, since their weather is worse than ours.
Or on the other hand, if by God we mean mother nature, then the message is quite different. "Stop screwing with my planet"

Then why does He send all those terrible tornadoes to God-fearing red states?

I just posted a new thread about it. This is extremely bad and I am extremely worried. I have family in the area.

I've been punished by God before and it's not pleasant. After that I promised him I'd be a good boy from then on. :(

Well, not the first part, but the second (screwing with mother nature) does make sense. Seems like everyone's weather is getting more severe.
