Subject: 77 out of the 88 counties have counted the provisional ballots in Ohio, and....

And some democrats wanted to wait an extra 11 days to count the provisional ballots saying that somehow with only 155,000 of them they could over take Bush's 136,000 vote lead. Story:
Absentee/Provisional/Vote Corrections from 75 of 88 counties reporting Official results. These are to be added(in some cases subtracted)to(from) the unofficial results on the SOS website. http://www.sos.state.oh.us/sos/results/index.html
County Bush, Kerry:

CURRENT TOTAL:
Bush- +40,638 (53%)
Kerry- +36,749 (47%)
Bush leads by 3889 currently in the count of Provisional/Absentee/Vote error corrections, without the Franklin machine error figured in. When you include it in the count since 11/2/04 there is NO Gain for either one thus far. Of the 75 Counties with official results assessed, 82,195 Provisional ballots, and added absentee’s have been settled. The 13 Counties not yet reporting official results have 73,233 Provisional ballots to assess and report. Of the 73,233, only 51,263 will be deemed valid using a generous 70% validity rate(Lucas and Cuyahoga published rates are much lower). In those 13 counties that remain Kerry received 57% of the votes counted on Election Day, which using a generous 60/40 split would go Kerry 30,758 to Bush 20,505 for a difference of 10,253 in Kerry’s favor. This gain of 10,253 subtracted from Bush’s unofficial lead of 136,483 equates to a Bush Certified win in Ohio of 126,230 votes. One final BIG Point is the so called UNDERVOTES! THESE ARE NOT VOTES! They are ballots where no discernable vote for president was cast, in other words the person voted for NONE OF THE ABOVE! How hard is it to believe that 90,000 people out of 6 million decided not to vote for anyone for president? In Ohio none of the above was not a choice to mark on the ballot, so voters who were displeased with the choices simply skipped the President box and moved on. Here in Nevada, None of the above was on the ballot and got almost as many votes as Nader! The real target in this whole thing is Blackwell, not Bush. The Dems know he is a big up and comer in the Republican party and since they can't afford any more prominant Republicans, they need to dump as much nonsense on him as possible. They are trying to Kathrine Harris him and want the tagline in two years to be "Republican governatorial candidate Ken Blackwell who presided over the Ohio election mess two years ago as Secretary of State" Lets make sure they don't succeed in tarnishing this good man's name.
