A Christian Ethicsist from California has observed that the steady decline in the number of abortions through the 1990's has reversed itself over the past four years, the divorce rate has risen, and fewer people are getting married. All of this he attributes to falling wages, the rising poverty rate, and increasing unempolyment. Economic security, he argues, is clearly linked a pro-life and family values agenda.
