Well...I guess because we want to be polite, and "I forgive you," sounds too dramatic.

Why does Superman stop bullets with his chest, but ducks when you throw a revolver at him?
It's to do with the difference in the velocities of the two objects. Because the bullets are travelling quickly he uses relativity to cause them to change direction. The revolver travels more slowly so it can't be stopped using the same method. Instead he uses his lightning quick reactions to duck.

Certain 7-11's round here do close now and then. National Holidays or those early late hours when you think they should be open but really it's an invitation to be robbed in that particular area of town so they close...but it also could be that doors are just made with the lock mechanism already installed so why ask why?

possibly. Basically there are various stages of human development that have been found. The increasing brain capacity and more upright stance develops the newer the fossilized remains are. however since there are very few whole skeltons found it makes it difficult to trace the whole picture. Bet someone on The Science Forums would know more about it.

Trumpy, that is an unusual name?
I named her after Donald Trump! Haha, j/k. She's actually named after an alien from the movie 'Pod People'. I'm a big Mystery Science Theater 3000 fan and if you're at all familiar with that show you'll know exactly what I'm talking about! I thought she looked like the little alien...

Are we talking about Darwinism?
Never believed in the whole big bang/evolution thing. Even the simplest protein, ribonuclease would have been extremely unlikely for its amino acids to link in the particular order it does in a random chemical reaction, so the idea that more complicated organisms managed to pull it off seems absurd.

I put them together, because I wasn't really sure where the primordial soup part came in, when single celled organisms and the like came to life in abiogenesis, etc.

How did abiogenesis occur in the first place?

How did abiogenesis occur in the first place?
For a full explanation have a look at this site. talkorigins. The first link it gives about lies, damned lies and statistics explains life developed in a series of small steps and not one great leap from single-celled organisms to multi-celled animals.

having scanned down to the bit about Pasteur it says "What he showed was that it was highly unlikely that modern living organisms arose from non-living organic material" which I don't think anyone would dispute.

Is the soft as in the term soft tissue refers to tissues that connect, support, or surround other structures, the one you are refering too here?

^^ was this a teenage you doing a writing journal for school?
If so it could be anything he was speaking of!
Maybe it was some mystery food item for lunch one day, or maybe it was the feelings of his brain going soft because of very difficult conversations taking place as in the evolutionary one above.

Mike's "riteing book" reminds me of this journal/homework assignment book I found from third grade. The handwriting was awful, although I didn't see any misspellings. I seemed to be preoccupied with food. Here is a typical entry:

Today is Stephanie's birthday. We had cupcakes. I had two.
At lunch we had cheeseburgers.

My christmas tree is looking pretty sad this year, it's rather "striped" with lights because we took off the "dead" ones, but don't have enough new ones (well, the multi-colored ones, we have 2 brand new strings of clear ones) to put on it so there's a stripe right in the middle that has NO lights, the bottom has TONS (it WAS a pre-lit tree) and the top is rather scarce ;D
Our tree for downstairs (6footer) has 3 sets of lights for it, all just normal clear lights
