Eddie Guerrero, Professional Wrestler, Dies at 38:

MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 14 (AP) - Eddie Guerrero, a World Wrestling Entertainment star, was found dead in his hotel room Sunday in Minneapolis, where he was scheduled to appear that evening in a WWE Supershow. He was 38.

When Guerrero did not respond to a wake-up call, hotel security at Minneapolis Marriott City Center and Guerrero's nephew and fellow W.W.E. wrestler Chavo Guerrero forced their way into the room, the police said. There were no signs of foul play or suicide, the police said. An autopsy is planned.

Eduardo Gory Guerrero was featured on the UPN series "WWE Smackdown!" He was the son of the Mexican wrestler Gory Guerrero.

Chavo Guerrero and Vince McMahon, the W.W.E. chairman, said that Eduardo Gory Guerrero was open about his past drug and alcohol abuse, but they said he had been sober for four years.

In February 2004, Guerrero became the W.W.E. champion when he defeated Brock Lesnar, a former college wrestling champion from the University of Minnesota. Guerrero lost the title four months later.

In May 2004, UPN broadcast a one-hour program, "Cheating Death, Stealing Life: The Eddie Guerrero Story," chronicling his childhood and his struggle with a drug addiction that almost cost him his job, family and life before his recovery.

He is survived by his wife, Vickie, and his daughters Shaul, Sherilyn and Kaylie Marie, the W.W.E. said.

The autopsy came in a few days ago and he died of heart failure and an enlarged heart from years of drinking and drugging. :(
