Our air conditioning is getting fixed on Friday. It'll cost about $1100, but oh well. We can't go on much longer without it and it's only going to get hotter. The heat down here goes right through into September.

We are glad ^ survived vacation and came back. My sister bought a computer for our house so, woohoo! I get to play & post a little from home now . Esp since the content blocker prevents me from logging on here when I'm @ work. :-[ But it's to protect the kids so there's no way around it.

Lindsay Lohan is on the cover of the August GQ UK and I have to say, she doesn't look half-bad now that she's gotten her red hair, curves and boobs back. When she was that overly skinny suicide blonde.....not hot.
I think she is a very pretty girl...and when she lost all of that weight and colored her hair blond...she really looked horrible. That's good news that she is regaining her old look once again.

My sister and I just got back from Hartsfield after dropping my mom off. We got breakfast for dad, her and I and now we're just waiting for the air conditioner repair people to show up.

Okay, so I was checking my MLBlog that I have and I noticed that I'm featured on the front page of the Active Roster! Usually I have to scroll down quite a bit to be able to see it, but when I went there to update this afternoon, there I was, right where you can see it. I'm Yankees Chick. :)

I havd a friend (now sadly departed) adored everything American especially Jazz and Baseball, but the amazing thing was he never set foot in the USA.

But "that silly soccer tournament" was a world cup with teams from everwhere playing, not a world series with teams from one country. I think the Superbowl is probably shown here and that is it in terms of American sport.
