Hey I didn't realize you knew my son I call him a s.k.i.t.  serial killer in training (behind his back of course). He's almost 18 now with no ambition, no job, and very soon no where to live. We have had him in therapy for years, spent quality time with him, beat his butt, selective attention, had him on meds, you name it, and still he is the way he is. Oh yeah he also tries to be a gang bangerI love him don't get me wrong its just so frustrating. http://www.inthe00s.com/smile/11/BangHead.gif

We have two older children who turned out just fine, one is a butcher who wants to be a video producer and the other is a stay at home Mom.

We're holding my niece's birthday party today, and yet I can't help but dwell on my own, which is tomorrow.
I have begun to hate my own birthday.

This year, we can't do anything, because finanaces that were there, aren't now.
Our vacation was cancelled- twice- for different reasons.

The one thing I have to show for this year, is Nero.
That's more than can be said for last year.

I know I should be grateful for what I have, and I am.
And yet- I know there are other things I could have, that now I must wait on, yet again!

Best you try to concentrate on the birthday gathering for your niece Hawk....  It is frustrating when life keeps putting hurdles in your way and things you want....aspire to...are just out of grasp...    It WILL get better....just hang in there. :)

I'm sorry you feel that way buddy...I can totally relate though. Depression seems to be an unwanted chum lately in my life too. I didn't do/get much for my birthday this year either....it sucks.
