Not sure what he could actually do, Howard - sweating's just a natural thing that some people do more than others...

But I can give you a bit of advice - don't try and let yourself get dehydrated...drink plenty of fluids to replace what you've 'sweated out'...

This almost happened to me during our hot summer of a couple of years back - I was almost on the verge of 'passing out'...scary...


When I sit down,the sweating stops and my body is all sticky and dry so I try to sit down and relax.

I drink plenty of water and 1-2 cups of coffee

Oh, man, this week's gonna SUCK. My dad has a ton of work planned... he refused to let us space it out, but he's at least letting me do some of the lawn work first.. he'd planned to spend a whole day, now it's probably about an hour less.

Either way... other then the yard work {Which he's just doing for the sake of doing yard work, our yard is fine}, this should be at least fairly constructive.. one of the things is getting my room painted finally.

I don't know what this is but I might have hyperhidrosis which is called excessive sweating.It happens during the summertime after 5-10 minutes when I'm outside in the heat and when the humidity is very high,I perspire profusely.Sweat covers my shirt and underwear and I come home looking like I've just been through a car wash.Could this be hyperhydrosis or just nothing to worry about? ???

Hyperhidrosis means that you constantly sweat a lot all year round.  People who suffer from this can curl their hand into a cup shape and watch a pool of sweat form.  It is treated by cutting a particular nerve in your armpit.  Your doctor might be able to advise you about a stronger anti-perspirant (which is only available on prescription in this country).  Actually make sure you are using an anti-perspirant and not just a deodorant, because I've noticed a lot of men's stuff is just deodorant.



Also,During The Wintertime,My fingers turn purple and white when it's real frigid out.


If the ends of your fingers (say from the knuckle down to the tip) turn white and dead looking when you go out into the cold and then go very purple when your hands warm up you could have Reynaud's disease.  The blood vessels over-react to the temperature changes.  Be careful because you can get gangrene from it because of the very poor blood flow during the white finger part of the phase. 

My mum has Reynaud's.  In the winter she always carries some form of heating for her hands (as well as wearing gloves) either a small hot water bottle or one of those portable hand warmers sold in camping shops where you burn a small charcoal stick inside a tin.  In the summer she still has to wear fingerless gloves or leg warmers on her forearms to keep the blood warm.  (looks v groovy I tell you)

I'm doing the same, actually.. except I also have to pick sticks off the yard and I had to pick up little paint chips that fell into the mulch all around our house.. that was bloody IMPOSSIBLE.. took me longer then the combined time for both front and back yards.

It's not quite so hot, I don't think, but it's quite humid, and my yard is freakin' huge.

Yeah, on the front it hasn't really grown all that much but the back Yard is just erupting. The grass has grown several inches in just a short space of time.

If it only happens in the summer, it's probably just the weather.  I don't sweat much but there are days when just walking to the mailbox (about 50 ft.) to get the mail makes me break out in a sweat.



You should see how much I sweat,It's disgusting.  :P But,I'm still going to the doctor tomorrow to have him check me out.

I kind of feel ambivalent.I was asking my case manager that what happens if someone calls me for a possible job and then what happens to the Supportive Employment papers that took almost a month to fill out,what will happen to them? Will they get put back in my chart or get tossed in the garbage? It's like I need help in some areas but I don't need help cause I feel mature enough to work on my own getting job applications instead of somebody assisting me,I'm sort of like on a see-saw. :(

BRRRR! Feeling cold, i have discovered that i can't win in the battle of the air conditioning  ;D

When the vent was messed up then it was 85 degrees in here, now with it all sorted i swear it's below 60. I'm right above the AC Unit so this room should in theory be the coolest, but it's freezing  ;D

Well, ok it's not that bad, but when you first get up in the morning, brrrrrr!

Still, it should be the warmest in the winter  ;D
