Not on here, but I've had a longtime avatar of 1955 Lorraine on the BTTF boards -- which caused more than a few people to believe I was a girl at first (alot of my now-friends and I commonly joke about this when it comes up). ;D

So I'm used to them not necesarilly being gender specific - if so, I hope no one thinks I look like ALL the Tanners, plus Jesse & Joey, LOL!

^ Yeah, one or two. I think about 4 months ago (in the late 100's or early 200's of the "Show Us" thread), but since I got my hair cut way shorter, they're not that accurate anymore.

That's Jon Stewart to you!  And I wouldn't watch "The Colbert Report".  I think he was good on The Daily Show as a co-anchor, but I couldn't imagine this guy hosting his own show.  It just looks like a Daily Show ripoff, but I'll still watch an episode if I can. 

Stephen Colbert is good at making funny "determined" faces and talking funny (evidenced by the promos on Comedy Central), which would eventually get old if the show was his own, despite that it was hilarious on Jon Stewart's show...  Just my two cents.

To get back on topic...  I like Snyder's avatar, even though I've never heard of the band.  It looks like the guy has a pancake on his face.

My current avatar is self made.  It's 200+ still frames that I captured from an Angel City music video, then I cut and pasted into a 100x100 size, then animated it with a gif animator.  It took me almost 2 hours to make, but it was worth it  8)

Wow... I didn't know you made it yourself. I would imagine that putting together an animated image is time consuming...but I think it's one of my personal favorites now. 8)

It is quite easy to make gif files, but with this forum, animated avatars larger than 100x100 don't animate on here, so resizing each screen shot to fit a 100x100 frame was so time consuming.  The things I do for Lara  8)

yep.  I use a cheapie shareware program called CyD Gif Studio.  It makes good quality gifs  8)
