Since the Concorde was taken out of service I have stopped looking at the skies for I, like many others, marvelled at the sight of the super-sonic aeroplane

Subject: Re: Fantastic word game

Written By: nally on 03/15/08 at 2:41 pm

Aeroplane is another way of spelling the word 'airplane'...however, the Red Hot Chili Peppers spelt it the "aero-" way in the title of one of their songs...so it is still fairly common.

Subject: Re: Fantastic word game

It is still fairly common to hang with your friends when you are a teenager,as it was when I was younger.

"Lord of the Rings" is a trilogy.

Names like Van, as in Van Morrison ;), always make me wonder why a vehicle was named after them.

Subject: Re: Fantastic word game

Written By: nally on 03/27/08 at 10:56 am

Named after them? I don't think so. Van Morrison was not named after a vehicle, nor was a vehicle made for him...that just happens to be a pseudonym; lots of performers have those. I forget what Van Morrison's original name is.
