I have always wanted to be a roller derby girl. They are so cool and unique, and darn sexy,  and I just love the whole concept of it.....BUT.......it is never gonna happen!  I have zero coordination, cannot roller skate well at all, and, I have a bad back (had back surgery last year), so, that's why it won't happen. A girl can wish, can't she?  :P

I have a friend that works with the Salt City Derby Girls, which is a local league, and I almost joined last year.  I'm more into the ass kicking part of it, but nowdays it is totally tame and boring.  Just a bunch of girls skating around.  I can do that in my neighborhood!  lol.

I have thought about it. There was an ad for extras around here not too long ago. I was thinking about it but unfortunately, it is not something that I can do on my own. I would need my "chauffeur" to drive me there & back. This is part of the reason why I'm not active in the theatre anymore (not to mention that I can't see when the house lights go out).  :\'( :\'( :\'(  Besides, I don't think extras have their names in the credits.

But if the board ever gets to the critical mass required to do that Vegas party thing, there's one within walking distance of the strip (and another a little further north).  Not the world's biggest, but there's something to be said for being able to plunk down $20, ride a mild and gentle roller coaster around the outside of a hotel, and then go back inside ten minutes later, just because it was there.

Skydive ~ something I'd dreamed of doing ever since i can remember, though I never really talked about it. After one of my hip operations (the 3 month check-up) the doctor declared the hip was "just like new! The only thing you'll never be able to do is skydive.'

I was completely crushed and almost burst into tears right there. No one had a clue as to why I wasn't overjoyed at his proclamation..."

Now they usually make you go tandem for your first jump, with an experienced diver. That would work for me but  I not only would need to find someone willing to take me with the hip thing, but, I also have complications from an accident on the back of my husbands Harley a few years back. I broke over 40 bones in the left foot and ankle and the right leg was hanging off from the knee down. They saved it, but, it does slow me down when added to overall health and abilities.

No, I haven't quite given up the dream,  :-\\ but it just isn't very likely it will ever happen..... :\'(
