Currently 8. 42 am. However, I went to bed around 2.30 pm. Given till recently I was sleeping at least 9 hours, this ain't enough.

More like a tag team. First Carlos got out of bed (which I was unaware of because I was really out like a light), the cat came up and curled up on my head purring away. After Carlos came back to bed, she went away and I fell back asleep. Then he woke me up  ;) . After, I fell back asleep again until he got out of bed and the cat came back. But Carlos getting out bed the second time woke me so the cat didn't really wake me up the second time.

I just went downstairs and there she was sleeping soundly on the couch. So, I woke her up saying "Wake up Polly" in the best John Cleese impression I could do.  :D Carlos came down and REALLY woke up-kicking her off the couch.  http://www.inthe00s.com/smile/03/diablotin.gif So, now she is up here with her sister and both of them are sleeping. I guess we are going to have to wake them up again. lol

Since I woke the cat up yesterday, she had to get me back this morning with a vengeance. She was making so much noise it was unreal. I almost hit her with the pillow-she ran only to come back again.  ::)  Finally, I found her mouse and threw that out of the room and she followed it. And of course by that time, I was awake. Carlos slept right through it.

At about quarter to 4 this morning, Hubby woke me up by yelling in pain. It took me more an hour to get back to sleep because he was snoring and keeping awake. Then I FINALLY fell back asleep only to have him wake me up again by yelling at the cat to get down from the dresser.  ::)

Usually I try to keep an eye on the food dish before going to bed. If it is low, I will fill it up so they will let me sleep but I forgot to check it last night before going to bed.

My niece went to the hospital with a gallbladder attack and was too drugged up to drive home.  :\'( :\'( :\'(  We may have to drive her back to the hospital to pick up her car. We keep a folding chair on the mini blinds at the window for two reasons: To keep the mini blinds from flying out so our neighbors can see into our bedroom and to keep the cats out of the window so the mini blinds don't go flying out so our neighbors can see into our bedroom. This morning, the wind was really whipping and it took the chair and the chair went BANG!!! Woke us up (and scared the cats).

The first time I could sleep in and I was looking forward to it. It started about 2:30 a.m. with a meow from Electra. She then curled up with me and at that point I realized that Elvira was at my feet. Shortly there after, Elvira woke up and decided it was a good time to curl up on my neck. The purring in my ear wasn't bad but it was sharp claws in my head & the licking on my nose was bothersome. This went on and off until I finally got out of bed about 9. No, her food dish WAS full (made sure of that last night because I did want to sleep in). I think she missed me.

A mentally challanged Man {He's 21} visits His Grandmother most weekends.He's very loud,curses a lot....He usually starts about 7-8am....The Landlady has spoken to the Grandmother about complaints She's received....But He's pretty uncontrolable.

The kid was only about 4 or 5 years old-but when you are trying to sleep and hear that, it doesn't matter what age they are. When Carlos came in from getting the paper, I asked him, "Did you shoot that kid?" He said yes.  :D ;D ;D ;D  Of course neither one of us would have hurt him.

Awwww, thanks-it's all part of being divorced from a psycho....it happens.  Matthew's musket is wooden and doesn't even hold any kind of ammo, real or play, so it's more of a replica to look at than to play with.  That's why I had at least a small laugh from the dream after I realized it was a dream ;)

back on topic..... I woke to my alarm clock.... about 6 times...every hour on the hour because I was doing laundry and the drying cycle was an hour long... it takes two hours to dry a load and on the second hour I would start a new wash load... then dry that for an hour and repeat the process.... I got three loads done this morning but not a lot of sleep.  ;D

A really funny dream. I dreamt that my friend and I were trying to catch a bus (I've only ridden the city bus once in my life) and when the bus pulled up, the driver wouldn't let us on because she didn't like MJ. So later that day--in the dream--I see the bus driver at a store and she left the keys in her car and left it running. I went and threw it into reverse and it flew down a hill into a tree.

And then I woke up.  :)

A fire alarm at 1:50AM this morning. Everyone in the building went outside. Fire engines didn't arrive until 2:10. That's 25 minutes later.
Apparently our building's alarm was not connected properly with th epowers that be.

I don't get that.
Thankfully, no fire tho.

I woke up laughing from a dream.

And my doll was about 70  dollars. Not bad.  :) He is an accomplishment. This was a doll I've wanted since 1999. 11 years I wanted one. And finally the little guy is on his way! I'm so happy.

But it's also kind of sad. Once he arrives, I've kind of finished my MJ collection. I can't think of anything I wanted more than him.  :)

Eh, but something else will probably pop up. I mean if people keep buying Elvis junk, I'm sure to find another MJ collectible. I love it.

I forgot to mention yesterday, we were woken up by the phone. &^%$#* Cigna called at 7:30 and they thought we were in Vermont which would have meant 6:30!!! WTF!!!! The woman apologized but still...what the f*** were they thinking? Carlos said that she had a Southern accent which meant it was probably 6:30 where she was, too.

I've been using my cell for an alarm for over a year but lately I have started to ignore it so yesterday I went back to using my real alarm clock (one I've had since I graduated 8th grade!)  so I would say my alarm clock woke me up today as well but the dog is afraid of the real alarm so really it was her jumping at the sound of it that woke me up.  ;D

Cell alarms have always been too quiet for me, even on the highest volume!  My regular clock-clock is pretty old too -- I've had it since I was a teenager and I'm 38.

There's something about the particular tune I chose for my alarm ring- its a standard ring on my iPhone. Even when I hear someone else's phone ring with that tune my body reacts to it like- HEY IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP!!! (and I'm all... I'm already awake stupid  :P )


I have always had issues waking up- before the clock I have now- i've had it for nearly 30 yrs, it's super loud and, until I got my iPhone, it was the only alarm that would ever get me out of bed.

Totally amazing that I didn't wake up at all in the middle of the night. The first time I slept throughout the night in a LONG time. I sort of heard all the roosters, cars, & neighbors but it really didn't wake me up. What finally woke me up was Carlos getting out of bed about quarter to 9 this morning.

I listen to the radio sometimes at night and its just music.  There are however shows that I can listen to online that are good.

That's good. There is this one particular show that airs weeknights at midnight (technically Tuesday through Saturday mornings), called 'The Deep End with Nick Michaels', and it plays music. And I wanted to listen to it last night, so I had my clock radio wake me at midnight, because if I didn't set it, I would have likely slept right through it.

I've been doing that for many years now, the thing is you have to train your body, going to sleep at the same time and waking up at the same time. For me, It's between 5 and 6am and going to sleep at or about 11pm.

I wake up around 9, on my days off, but I don't always falls asleep at the same time.  Sometimes I will wake up right before my alarm goes off.

You'll get used to it, just like I got used to getting up every day after 5am, take a shower, turn on the computer, get dressed and go down for breakfast before my parents wake up.

I had the most peculiar nightmare.  I was back in high school.

Okay, there's more.

I was back in high school and I had a car and the school had a parking garage.  I pulled into the parking garage and had a panic attack because I remembered I had a science test and I forgot to study for it.  I figured I sneak back out.  Go home, call in sick, study for the exam, and then take a make up.  I tried to go back to my car but the garage transformed into an MC Escher maze of endless ramps, dead-end tunnels, Gothic grottoes, and circular staircases.  There were other students in the garage, but nobody I recognized, and it didn't matter because they were all wax museum figures.  I kept thinking I remembered where I parked, but every time I got to that row of cars, mine wasn't there.  Meanwhile the garage kept getting more gigantic and more ornate.  I was scared because the vice principal might see me and I'd have to go to class and flunk the science test.

Then I remembered, you're 44 years old, you don't go to high school, and you don't take science tests!

Then I woke up.

Then the weird thing happened.

I went right back to the nightmare in the MC Escher parking garage!

Then the voice said, "Didn't I just tell you, you're 44 years old, you don't go to high school, and you don't take science tests, it's a dream.  You can wake up now!," and I woke up.

That's the first time I ever went back to a dream after waking.

My two alarms woke me up today. The one on my DAB radio clock and the one on my Galaxy Note 2 mobile phone. I woke up late for work a couple of years ago after forgetting to set my alarm (lucky it was just overtime) so now I complete a 'belt and braces' job to make sure I wake up.

3:15 a.m.-the smell of smoke.  :o :o :o :o  We looking all over the house and couldn't find anything. Then we realized it was coming from outside. We figured the smell was coming in from the office window that we have open. At 3:30 a.m. we are outside in our robes. There was an emergency truck (couldn't tell what it was-fire? recuse?) about two house down or so with their red light flashing. We were relieved that it wasn't our house and went back to bed.

7:30 a.m.-the painters going into the attic and then banging up there. They are doing the cupola but doing it from the inside-it is safer.

The next day, we found out that the house was a couple of blocks over. We were surprised that we could smell the smoke from that far away. We walked over to see what was left of the house. It was pretty gutted. The good thing was for the fact that it had been empty. In fact, the guy we talked to (I think he was from the fire department) said that there wasn't any power on in the house. So we wonder how it caught fire. I said to Carlos that I'm sure the people in the house next door were sh!ttin' bricks. The houses were really close to each other.

I took a pic of it because I had my camera but it is still in the camera and I haven't put it on the computer yet.

The painters-AGAIN!!! But this is the last time. There is one more section to do (and the garage) but they have to wait until our contractor does what he needs to do first. Who knows when that will be. The garage will probably be done later in the summer or maybe even next year.

I jumped out of bed, grabbed my robe and ran downstairs and by the time I got downstairs, it had turned off. Why did it go off? Who knows. I think we have a faulty one-it has gone off a few times but turned off after about a second or two. This time it didn't shut off that quickly which set all the others off.

Talk about a rude awakening. It took me I don't know how long to stop shaking.

Actually, it wasn't a pulled muscle at all but a cracked rib.  :\'( :\'( :\'(  He is doing a bit better but he does have a long recovery.

BTW, he has no idea how he did it.

My Influenza shot.  I also asked if the pharmacist gives tetanus shots and she said: "she couldn't do that because it has to be done by a doctor but she does give travel shots like hepatitis A and B and E-Coli." My mom said that there's a doctor in Port Hope who's accepting new patients so, I might set up an appointment with that doctor because I need a tetanus shot if I want to do volunteer work at the animal shelter. >:( >:( >:(

Watching Due South and Republic of Doyle on TV.  Paul Gross appears in both shows and he's always been a favourite of mine.  :)  My mom and I actually saw him in the pharmacy one time and I wished that I had gone up to him and said "Benton Fraser I presume?"? And just had a chance to talk to him. :)
