You're right...driving in it sucks but it is beautiful when it stops.  Especially just after a big snow when the sky is blue but all the snow is still in trees and on the wires.  One of the many reasons I wouldn't want to leave Utah.  It is beautiful here.



Oh man. As the sun bounces off the of the snow and it just sparkles. And the limbs of the trees are heavy with the freshly fallen snow. That's why I moved here to Vermont. But yeah, the driving in it sucks but here they are prepared for it and the people who drive the snow plows/salt/sanders are really hard working people-sometimes they are out all night.

The funny thing is, when I tell people I am from Vermont, after they ask "What state is that in?"  ::) they think that we are above the Artic Circle and have 12 ft of snow year round. Looking out the window right now, there is only about 1/2 inch on the ground-IF that much and that had come down within the last 24 hours. Yesterday, the ground was completely bare of snow.

Da Yoopers.  I love those guys. They have great songs like "Second Week of Deer Camp" and "Fishing with the Guys". I really should look for a CD of theirs.
