My favorite radio station's here in Toronto are  Mojo Radio http://www.mojoradio.com
and Jack 92.5 www.925jackfm.com

You can listen to both station's via internet radio if you like.
The first channel broadcasts "Art Bell, Coast to Coast" beginning at midnight. This is an amazing program. I have been listenning to the program for 10 years. If you like topics on the paranormal you will enjoy the Coast to Coast program.

The second channel plays 75 percent 80's music all the time!

Great post idea  ;D

Mine would have to be 99X in Atlanta "New Rock and 90's Alternative.   www.99x.com

Plus the station has free concerts every friday during the summer.  I dont mean little name bands either I am talking big named bands.  Like two years ago they had Jerry Cantrell, Nickelback, Black Eyed Peas, Default, Papa Roach, N.E.R.D, Hoobastank, Collective Soul, and Sevendust just to name a few.  This past summer they had bands like, Cold, Saliva, Hoobastank, 3 Doors Down, Our Lady Peace, and more.

I listen to a lot of radio.  Here in Columbus, OH I listen to CD 101.  It's an alternative station.  They play a good mix of 80/90s/00s. They'll play everything because they are privately owned and no corporation tells them what they can or cannot play.

Well...in 1997 I became a big fan of "Star 98.7" in the L.A. area; they played a lot of cool 80s music (in addition to the current stuff) and still do; I would always enjoy listening to it on Friday nights; at the beginning of last year they moved it to Saturday nights. In 2001 they began doing "90s weekends" periodically, playing some of the cool music from the 90s (most of which I knew at the time it was popular). It was my favorite station for about seven years or so.

In March 2005, a classic rock station at 93.1 on the FM dial changed its format to "playing what want" and called themselves "Jack FM" (but keeping the same call letters, KCBS). They play stuff from the 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s, and a few rock songs from the late 60s as well. Best of all, they have no annoying jocks to talk all over the music. And every time they go to a commercial break, a pre-recorded announcer's voice will say something like, "Okay, Mr. and Mrs. Advertisers, tell us what you got...and then we'll come back and play another bunch of songs in a row."

I love Metro fm... best commentators on the sports coverage, and they play a wide variety of things from the 80s right up to songs that aren't even released yet. I like variety on a radio station, so I guess that's why it's my fave  :)

I have not listened to the radio in years! My fav radio stations use to be B101 and ProFM. I have not listened to any of them in five years. I absolutely loved B101 in the mid 2000s when they would play great music. Now a days they don't. Now I mainly go to itunes now for my music and I listen to their stations as well.

Another station I have seemed to listen to regularly, that is centered closer to where I live, is 'Classic Hits 106.3'; they basically play pop music from the 60s through the 80s. Doesn't seem like they have any dj's, though. (They used to be a classic rock station, but that format changed a few months ago to a classic hits format, which does include rock.)

The same is true these days, even though there is a fairly new one in my area that I have just started listening to (KRUZ 103.3); it plays classic hits from the 1970s, 1980s, and early 1990s.

Similarly, another station in my area (also on 101.1 FM) used to play oldies for the longest time, but they gradually phased out all pre-1970s music and now they only play classic hits (from the 70s now through the 90s, with occasional 2000s stuff!) with hardly any variety. :-\\

This KRUZ station is also starting to play music from later in the 1990s; this I know from having viewed their "recent playlist history" online. :)
