Greetings -

I've had the good fortune to have a TON of tapes hanging around from the 80's where I just ran the VCR for hours at a time. The end result is that I've got a bunch of old classic commercials that I've mastered to DVD. Where's the Beef, Transformers toy ads, the "This is your brain on drugs" PSA, the fast talking Micromachine guy - and yes, He-Man toy spots. I thought I'd take a moment and see if I could offer them here. Before we get started, a bit about my discs -

* These are single layer DVD -R discs, and while I've tried to QA them on several different DVD players, please make sure your player will handle them. I've not heard problems from anyone who I've traded with, so I'd say the odds they'll work for you are pretty good. Each disc holds at least 100 commercials, sometimes MUCH more. I dont list out huge blocks, so some lists look shorter than others - but in that instance, you usualy have 10 He-Man commercials, 8 McDonalds ads and so on.

* My tapes were reordered off the air from 20 years ago, on several VCRs, and of course the stuff I've gotten in trade is all over the map. I've done what I can to restore them and sweeten the audio, but you can only do so much. That being said, the commercials within are all pretty good quality.

* Oh, and I have mastered them with menus and chapter stops. None of this  DVD recorder default menu here, thank you.

* TRADE - I'm always on the lookout for more commercials I don't have. On DVD would be the prefered method, but I could live with VHS copies (recorded at fast, of course).

It was the same company, General Mills,that did the Golden Grahams commercial in the 80's where the Honey Drop used to talk as well..they later switched advertisers and they stopped having it talk.

While I've got a bunch of NBC promos, none of them are the Proud as a Peacock series. I think the majority of them are about 1985 or so onwards.
