Who was the typical American family structure of the 80s.
What were the roles of: Dad? Mom? Young People?
and the rates of women working, divorce rates, marriages or any other relative information.

My strongest recommendation is to check out Census data from 1990. That will get you some hard numbers from the 80's.

Roles of family members is pretty much the same. I'd guess that in the 80's maybe there were fewer families with both parents working. Perhaps fewer single parent familes as well.
In the end a job is a job is a job, if you can get one. None that I would guess is any more common than in any other decade in the past 100 years. Certainly there are fewer farmers and fewer manufacturing jobs now.

You should do your own homework instead of expecting others to do it for you.
With the internet, research is fairly easy.
Make the effort.
