Subject: NEED HELP LOCATING AN OLD TOY ASAP!

HAVE BEEN TRYING TO LOCATE A TOY MY YOUNGER SISTER HAD AS A BABY. NOT SURE WHO THE MANUFACTURER WAS BUT IT WAS A BATTERY POWERED WHITE TRAIN THAT HAD PLASTIC RECORD IT PLAYED IT STORED THEM IN THE BACK. I AM DESPERATE TO FIND THIS OR EVEN THE NAME AND MAKER OF IT. HELP PLEASE?

I have been looking for that toy train to give it to my nephew. Try searching under vintage toys trains. I lnow which one your talking about, but can't even find a photo. :-/

:o I HAVE LOOKED UNDER EVERY POSSIBLE TITLE TO FIND THIS THING. MY SISTER WANTS TO HAVE ALL OF HER CHILDHOOD TOYS AND THIS TRAIN IS THE LAST ONE. IM SURE IF WE KNEW THE NAME WE WOULD PROBABLY FIND HUNDREDS OH IT. IF I FIND OUT ANYTHING ILL LET YOU KNOW.

There's a site called bigredtoybox.com. Post this there also. It is a site dedicated to toys and games. They have a message board (toymsg.com) to ask if anyone knows the toy's name and a wanted board to advertise for it. Also some toy informed people there. ;)Good luck!

I think it was by Fisher Price and was called the Melody Train.

I couldn't find it under melody train but I did find a website that might have it. I only took a grief look, but they had toys that I played with as a child.

Hi , have you had any luck finding the train??
The train i think you are looking for is made by TOMY.
IT has four plastic records that slot in the top and play a tune when the train is in motion.
My little brother had one of the original white ones years ago.
I bought one about 2-3 years ago (England) for my son when they were back in the shops but are now blue. I don't know what it is called as it hasn't got the name on it just the TOMY trademark.

I have just found two of these trains on ebay.com if you are still interesred one is the original white and one is red probably a newer version.
just type in tomy train in the search box.
