Howdy one and all---
Growing up in Boston, I watched cartoons and all that kid's stuff on TV. Any takes available from others who also spent many hours in front of the tube will help me discover some lost data that has confounded me for years - but is also responsible for ending up in such places as this place here, whicj looks pretty fertile.
Numero Uno on the quest is to find a way to get copy of a particular serialized series shown on WNAC - Ch 7 in the morning hours before school...Major Mudd too? The animated series was about a boy's search through our solar system for his missing dad, joined by an avuncular scientist and the boy's younger sister. The drawing was superb; the information on wherever they happened to be was also really cool and informative - very true to life.
There was a host of cartoons that they showed that no longer appear anywhere that I am aware of - ancient cut-out black and white Euro style fairy tales and such...anyone recall the "Jasper" series? Stop action deep South moral stories that were great.
I have tried to contact folk in Boston that are employed by current owners of said WNAC, but to no avail.
Any ideas, memories, clues, links?
Thanks!
