I remember being fascinated by these throughout my life; no wonder some of my faves now are the "Cha cha cha-Charmin!" ones. I already have a tape of some good old ones from the 50's through 70's, mostly shown on Saturday mornings. Here's a sampling of what I liked:
Most Cap'n crunch commercials, especially the ones with cotton in the Cap'n's ears, and the theft of a Crunchberry tree (1981 and 1987 respectively, I believe)
Most Post Super Sugar Crisp commercials, about 1971-1989.
The "Body Buddies" one, circa 1979.
Several "Keebler Elves" ads from 1978-1990
Most animated pet ads, especially ones on dog food (SNAUSAGES!), and also includes my "most desired". It ran for a few months late 1986-early 1987, about a revolutionary litter box pad called "Feliners", I even had it on tape for a month or so, then I unknowingly erased it.

I miss those good ol' days.
