wasn't that the shampoo that ran that contest with the little diamonds in the shampoo bottle??? if you were the lucky one, you would find a real diamond.

I don't know if you have your answer yet, but Flex is actually still being made and can be bought at many drugstores (I saw it on drugstore.com) I'm sure you'd like an original one, but maybe this will get you started.
'Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific' was probably the first shampoo I remember using (next to Breck). Believe it or not, there is a website devoted TOTALLY to the product!! Get this...........it's called geeyourhairsmellsterrific.com
Since the product is no longer made, you can buy it on this site.
