I'm looking for the song Gold by John Stewart on a compilation CD preferably.  Anyone know where I can find it?  

Then only thing I've found is his Greatest Hits, which is more that I want to spend.

It can be found on Rhino's "Super Hits of the '70's--Have a Nice Day, Volume 22."

Of course if you are a vinyl junkie like me you can locate the song on several K-tel compilations...including "Wings of Sound" and "Hitline" (grin).

Columbia House has a bunch of compilations that are really good. You can find "Gold" on the "Greatest Hits of the 70s Volume 2" I have a lot of these compilations-hits of the 60s, 70s, 80s. They are usually 3 cds that are about $20 each. The drawback is, is that you have to be a member. (But you do get great deals.)

Hey, if you look on cdnow.com, you will find a cd called "earth rider".  That may be the cd you are looking for.  Or you may try half.com, and find that same cd cheaper.
